St. Clair West wouldn't be the same without our favorite Shawarma spot! The staff is friendly and always takes the time to cater to everyone's preferences for their pita and shawarma—even on the busiest days. The photo was taken right after we returned from a trip, absolutely exhausted, and our first meal back in Toronto was this delicious pita pocket. It’s always so filling and satisfying—an absolute go-to!

Mix platter with rice and salad was the best option for me to full my stomach During night. Chicken and beef was perfectly cooked and they grilled beef with onions and hot sauce for me. It tastes so unique and was so mouthwatering. I was supposed to have it at home but I cannot wait to eat and started eating there. They gave me sample lentil soup was so delicious. They guys care for their customers a lot. Service was so good

Pita and Hummus was my favorite spot on St Clair Avenue West for a chicken salad. The portions were extremely generous and the lentil soup is the absolute best. I stopped by yesterday for dinner for a chicken salad and was shocked by the not even child size portion of chicken. The guy that served me was new and he was even surprised and looked at the other server that cut the chicken to confirm if that was it. One of the tenured servers went on to explain the portions have changed. If you want double meat it's an extra $5. I again was shocked because the portions were always so generous and now due to inflation it has been severely cut. The other guy was somewhat argumentative trying to prove his point. To apease me, he shaved off another couple of pieces that didn’t do much. The entire interaction was making me lose my appetite. I was disappointed with my chicken salad but the lentil soup didn't fail; it was delicious. It really bothered me on my way home and I checked the Google reviews. I wasn't alone in my dissatisfaction. More people have been commenting on this same topic regarding the smaller portion sizes. This really needs to be seriously reviewed ASAP or you might start losing your loyal customers. #DoBetter

Smashing IT! Yummy Yummy Yummy. It's like visiting a relative's house for dinner. Everything is fresh and authentic. Amazing customer service. That explains the line-ups. A great spot to sit and enjoy an amazing Falafel Wrap and some amazing Lentil Soup! This gem of a restaurant will satisfy any taste bud, you will enjoy ever bite and delight in returning.

I went to this place almost weekly for a few years but started noticing the quality going downhill so stopped going as frequently. I would mostly stop in for falafels or lentil soup. Today I got a wrap and the portion was so small I was shocked. Almost $15 for a wrap half the size of their former portions. There was barely any meat and they literally put two or three vegetables. The meat didn't even taste salted. I won't ever order a wrap here again. Falafels are still good.

Why 2 stars you may ask? I would frequent this location weekly for lunch and have always been satisfied. The past couple of weeks the pitas have been half empty and the saj wrap had barely any chicken in it. I also ordered a shawarma plate to see if maybe you get more chicken that way, however again barely any chicken compared to what they used to give. I don't think I will be giving my money to this restaurant any more unless they revert back. I don't know if it's a supply issue or maybe a management change but BBW this is not the same portions if you plan on heading back. Be prepared to leave still hungry. Edit: went back today for lunch to give it one more shot and again they cut off the entire top of the pita and the pita was half empty!! I was looking at the recent reviews and it appears there are a lot of fake reviews, only 5 star with no description of the experience. I would encourage anyone who reads this to take pictures of the food they get and post it because it is not fair to the consumer that you get a pita with a few sprinkles of cucumber and a tiny bit of chicken in a huge pita. It’s like ordering bread with sauce. The taste of the food is very good the workers are great but the value isn’t close to what it was or even should be. I hate to say this, because this was my favourite place in the neighborhood, but I will not be going back. :(.

Great shawarma place. Have options for meat lovers and vegetarians. They serve really big portions. I love the dressings. Even though they were busy, service was fast. We got complementary lentils soup which was sensational! Definitely will go back!
