Really nice atmosphere with great service and amazing food. Everything was authentic and tasted perfect. We had the battered calamari, beet salad and sausage to start. Piri Piri chicken and octopus as the main. The vino verde wine was really good too. Portions are generous. And the waiter was Portuguese so was really knowledgeable about what to order!

I loved my first meal here at Piri Piri! The Portuguese chicken was so delicious as was the fries and salad that came with it. The breaded calamari rings were so tender too! I also loved that they had Somersby Cider because they use real apples. So refreshing. We were both so stuffed but we each ordered crème brulee each because we both they'd be small. But they were huge and so delicious! Foodgasm for sure! Plus the presentation was one of the best I've seen for a crème brulee. The ambiance was so warm and opulent. Since it was a sunny Saturday afternoon we ate on the patio. The service staff were so awesome and friendly which we really appreciated. We actually had three different servers check up on us. The restaurant is referred to as Casual Upscale Dining so I felt super pampered! But also felt underdressed in shorts and t-shirt. Thankfully I still thoroughly enjoyed the food and fantastic experience here. Definitely coming back!

This place is such a neighbourhood gem! The space is beautiful and immediately inviting. Staff were attentive and friendly. I was craving chicken alfredo from a favourite Charlottetown restaurant but Piri Piri's was so delicious, it is now on top. My boyfriend really enjoyed his grilled squid as well. Kudos to the incredible chef. Will definitely try desserts next time!

I had visited this restaurant before but it had been over a year. I decided today last minute to book a solo early dinner. The moment you enter you are greeted very warmly. They do not push bottled water, which is a plus. I had the Shrimp appetizer which could be a main dish for some people I know. The shrimp were cooked just right and the creamy piripiri sauce was mild but packed a punch of flavour. I did something I seldom do: dip bread in the sauce. It was that good! Then I had the grilled seabass which was served whole. It was perfectly grilled with a simple but perfect seasalt seasoning. There were roasted baby potatoes, sweet potato, broccoli, rapini and carrot. It was delicious and a huge dish! I then had my favourite portuguese dessert : molotof. Bsked meringue with a caramel drizzle and a sprinkle of cinnamon. With this glorious meal, I had a glass of Ponte da Barca Grande Escolha, a Vinho Verde and Loureiro blend, which agreed harmoniously with my food, and my conclusion was a glass of Caves de Murca tawny port. The prices are way cheaper than a similar meal downtown or in Yorkville. To me, Piri Piri is the best Portuguese restaurant in Toronto.

My first time there and was Not disappointed. From appetizers to entrée all was excellent. Our waitress allowed us plenty of time to relax and peruse the menu, answered all our questions and was pleasant. The wine list is abundant and Portuguese authentic. My only disappointment was that I had my heart set on their Cherry Cheesecake but they sold out as we finished licking up our meal. Still, the Terimisu and Panna Cotta filled the spot beautifully. I most certainly will be back because I have to enjoy more of their excellent cuisine.

Delicious food and great service! We passed by many times and we’re curious to try. They open earlier than most restaurants in the area and we went in to try for lunch. Loved the variety on the menu, we were able to order different things for everyone’s liking and the service was excellent!

I have walked by this restaurant for years and finally decided to visit. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting. The staff were very friendly. Our waiter was not only attentive but had wonderful recommendations. The food was top notch as well, best calamari I have ever had. I would definitely classify this restaurant as fine dining. I will for sure be making a return visit here.
