What a wonderful hidden gem. I will be back to try another variation. The service was very friendly and explained everything nicely.

A cute lil columbian cafe just opposite to Trinity Bellwoods Park. The atmosphere and vibe is pretty cool and chill for either you want to read a book or meeting a friend. I tried Canelazo, a delicious spice tea and Spinach empanada which tasted great. They also sell some local snacks and drinks. The food is prepared fresh at the cafe. Definitely worth checking the cafe. I will be visiting it again soon to try more of their food and drinks.

Great atmosphere and service, however, the food was below mid. I can make better Colombian food at home which says a lot about a Colombian restaurant. Mazorcada was not even close to what it’s supposed to look/taste like the cheese wasn’t even melted, and the ajiaco tasted nothing like it’s supposed to either with no papa criolla and super watery. Service was impeccable but I cannot recommend anyone eating at this spot if they are looking for authentic Colombian food! I do like that they sell Colombian chips, snacks and drinks as well as the wayyu bags.

Loved grabbing breakfast here, and on the way out, grabbed my lunch for later to go as well.

So we were walking in the Trinity Bellwood area and we stumbled across this delightful Colombian place. Free Samples? Sign me up! Delicious! From there we built our own bowl (just like Chipotle)!! Portion size is smaller than Chipotle, so don’t expect that, but the taste? Oh my Lordy … mmmm good! If you’re in the area, drop by, you won’t be disappointed. 🥰

Really cute place serving up great empanadas. The window has some seating directly across the park for great views while snacking away! We had an empanada and would get another. Inside there is not a lot of seating so I would recommend as more of a takeaway!

We have been coming here since they opened, and it is a magical spot. The music and arepas are wonderful. My personal favorite is the Arepa de huevo. If there is a list for best breakfast sandwiches in Toronto, this should be on the list. There is wonderful flavor to the dough, just enough salt to taste, but not overwhelming. A nice chew with a delightful thin layer of crisp. The frying oil hydrates it all and makes it so you don't even need a sauce. My only mild critique would be for lunch food: made to order is better than a heat lamp which can dry out meats and food. But the combinations in lunch platters are delightful. Don't miss out on this spot.

Summer Vibes & Delicious Colombian Food at La Piragua: Just across from Trinity Bellwoods Park, Vida offers a delightful taste of Colombia. The friendly staff and flavorful dishes make it a perfect spot to soak up the summer vibes. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, making it a great value. If you are looking for a wholesome snack, friendly faces and good vibes, I highly recommend trying La Piragua and I'm personally looking forward to my next visit 😋 to enjoy delicious Colombian food in a charming atmosphere (or while sucking some sun across the street)
