Pique-Nique

Drove past on my bike, got a cookie and a brownie for dessert. The cherry pistachio cookie was nice and moist and tasted really good. The brownie was awful. I could make a better brownie. I was thinking that because of their other stuff that I’ve tasted, It would be wonderful. It was dry, not moist at all. I even tried microwaving it to make it somehow more moist that didn’t work. I wish I could return it lol

Thoughtfully designed interior. Nice outdoor spots where you can enjoy a coffee on sunny days. We tried the pear cheese danish and tiramisu croissant, both taste great.

Absolutely lovely. Very high quality french-style fare, the dishes are laid out beautifully. A bit pricey, but well worth it for the quality of the ingredients, and the artful presentation by the chef. The coffee is very good. We ordered the Nicoise Salad(purely tasty), Turkish Eggs(delicious and slightly spicy), and french toast(coffee/caramel whipped cream). The restaurant is quite stylish, although slightly on the small side. They set up some very social media-friendly fall vibes outside with small hay bales, pumpkins, etc.

Cool and friendly atmosphere. Perfect pastry and coffee. It was so refreshing to sit and have our sips of coffee there. Strongly recommended!

What a great hidden gem to find in our own backyard!! The inviting curb appeal continues as you meet staff, browse the menu, and enjoy this peaceful atmosphere. You will be blown away by some of the best in-house, locally sourced, and top any experience pastry you've ever enjoyed. Tie it with a cappuccino, and it'll be the highlight of our day!

Couldn't speak highly enough of this place. Outstanding coffee (had a Cortado), got a Reuben Croissant (absolute sorcery) and a seasonal fruit Danish (drool) and a sourdough loaf to go. Were also kind enough to give us a few local pointers for our excursion for the day.

We finally got the chance to visit Pique-Nique & were delighted! Love love love the blue cheese & sage scones! (Moist & flavourful) Atmosphere is bright, clean & fresh. Staff are welcoming. My chai latte was perfect. I had the smoked salmon on sour dough & hubby had french toast on sour dough - both very tasty. Highly recommend this little bistro nestled in the boulevard gardens!

Such a CUTE place! I am in town for business and I found this place on Instagram and it was even better in person than I could have imagined! It’s on a quaint tulip lined street, the outside of the building is beautifully fresh, and when you walk in it truly brings a delightful feeling! There’s a soft bell that rings when you enter that gave such a nostalgic entrance, and I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and delightful smile from the woman working! She offered some great recommendations for what to try! I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area and can’t wait to come back to this area to try it again or sit down for a bite to eat and a coffee!
