An excellent place to try cold yummilicious egg salad sandwiches and garden Medely salad. Greek yoghurt with oats is also a must tey.And they have an awesome deal of buy one get another salad or sandwich free option. The only area you guys need to focus on communication skills with the customer. It should be more prompt and clear. But it's manageable and I am sure it will better in coming days 👍

Located inside the Princess Margaret Hospital and tucked away in the NW corner on the main level, this small but mighty location has a decent variety of choices of grab and go items of lunch and snacks. Their hot table, while modest is good quality and is priced by weight.

Lunches are overpriced, you can get healthy option for cheaper at Chipotle and Harvest Green, their bakery items are good though

Absolute overpriced garbage, I just ate almost half of a chicken club sandwich which was $8.49 plus tax, one of the nastiest things I've ever eaten, way to go!! Gouge people when they're here either visiting or buying for a patient, which in this case is me, my wife brought this up to my room earlier, it was prepared 2 days ago it reads on the BACK, lettuce no longer fresh, chicken dry as hell, way over priced. $8.49 for a sandwich on toast with $1.75 worth of stuff on it in total & bread that's not what you could describe as being fresh?!?

Bought an egg salad sandwich yesterday for lunch and it was frozen solid! It took 45 minutes to defrost and I had to throw the lettuce out. I never had this problem before. Usually everything is great. So just check your sandwich before you leave

Such a great little market. They have everything you need and for a hospital, honestly their pricing is really fair and doesn’t gauge! They have an amazing hot food bar that is self serve by weight and the quality of the food honestly tastes homemade and delicious. I’m a fan. Thank you for making my hospital stay easier. Hope they have continued success. Everything is clean and organized and staff friendly.

I like this place but kinda only because there's no other options. I wish the hospital had vending machines Pinto is a decent place for a bite. Its a convenience store with a hot food section around noon. I always get snacks from there but 2 dollars for 1 pickle is genuinely ridiculous The hot food was delicious. Not specially expensive either, around $14 for a protein + two sides I got the mac and cheese, perogies with sour cream, and veg mix

Edited 27 February 2 Stars I was raving about this small cafe / market place opened in Princess Magaret but sadly past few trips to the hospital I’ve seen the vegan and vegetarian options dwindling down. Very disappointed for people like me who are plant based. Even the attitude of the staff has changed a little, some how more complacent and not very helpful. Based on my last few visits and the food quality purchased given the prices versus the quantity I would give them a 2 Star rating They are not as well stocked as before and many shelves are bare and empty. Original review 5Stars I’m ecstatic to finally find healthier food options at the Princess Magaret Hospital. The newly opened Pinto Market is fully stocked with freshly made wholesome goodies. Catering to all palates and meal options. From the fresh fruit selection to cut fruits, they have fresh baked savoury and sweet muffins and croissants and cookies. They stock a whole lot of nuts and seeds which is impressive and a super healthy snack option, to indulgence of desserts. The freshly made wraps and sandwiches are good mid size meal options. Along with all this they have a salad/ Dips section with lots of cheese and vegetables and grapes. The best is a daily Chef’s Table which comprises of hot meals. They have 3 sides and 4 mains along with a veg & non veg soup options. They have a huge selection of pops, juices kombuchas coffees too. Freshly brewed coffee and a whole lot of biscuits and cookie packets with health bars available too. I bought 3 sides as being vegetarian I couldn’t have the main meat options. The pesto fusilli is not so bad, the Brussel spouts are bit tough and chewy and the potato wedges are under seasoned and cold. Wanted to try their hot meal options and would give 3 Stars for it. However I give 5 stars and if possible more for their initiative to start a easy to pick up market within the hospital. Cancer patients need healthier nutrition and it’s a relief to see it finally happen. Last whole year I’ve had multiple visits to the hospital, some times weekly and each visit goes on for a few hours. Good food is a Must. It’s would be Great if they can add more Vegan & Vegetarian Options and label the food items so it’s easier for people to pick up Specially the vegan vegetarian ones. Another suggestion would be if they can add freshly squeezed orange juice. (When I went through my chemo I could only survive on orange juice.) Amazing job Pinto Market for starting this at Princess Magaret 👏🏻 Keep up the good work & service. Ben the store manager was helpful and very kind.
