First time and not the last. I recommend this restaurant, food was fresh, delicious. I had the jerk chicken which was moist, and tasty. How I know this chicken was great was that the wing was soft you could actually eat the meat off of it. Their coleslaw was like no other. Not too much vinegar, it wasn’t tangy. Great find. My favourite jerk place now

I tried their food truck recently. They were awesome! The oxtail was meltingly good and flavourful. The jerk chicken poutine had curds and delicious gravy. Highly recommend.

The Original Jerk Chicken and Barbecue Chicken are a definite must. Go with the Original Jerk Chicken over the leg as it is much more juicier. Rice was cooked perfectly, and any option of chicken had really good seasoning and flavour. Will definitely order again! And even despite the delivery time via Doordash, everything was still warm! I will definitely order again! (Note, there was a lot of steam/water built up which cause the chicken to be not crispy, but I personally don’t find it an issue. )

My rice bowl with boneless jerked chicken and creamy coleslaw was presented with a formed mound of tasty coconut rice and garnished with plantain slices. The chicken was tender and the jerk sauce was warm and rich. I was quite full but finished it. A friend had the same dish and said it was good. My other friend enjoyed the goat curry roti (big serving! She took half home) and Sorel drink (on the sweet side). I went for lunch with 2 friends on a weekday and we were the only ones dining in. Lots of pickup orders went out, though. Order at the counter. May take a moment if server is on the phone. Friendly server, clean decor.

.......OK...so I am mid-chew and CONNOT wait to review this Jamaican BBQ restaurant. 🤤 I've had Jamaican BBQ, and this has to be one of my new favorite spots! So I have a gluten allergy, and yet I'm eating fried chicken 🍗 YUP! GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN GUYS! They have options for every dietary need. Also, family owned.... incredible humans. Come out and support, you will thank me! 😊

Got takeout from here a few weeks back and it was delish! We ordered the curry goat, jerk chicken and rice! I forgot to take a picture of the box of rice but it was packed with rice and beans and we barely made a dent in it. The jerk chicken was tender and had a lot flavour and the curry goat wasn’t gamy at all! This will be my go to spot when I head up to Stouffville again!

Great local Jerk chicken spot definitely to get your fix in. Got the Original Jerk Chicken Rice Box. Flavours were great and had a good BBQ style flavour to it. Would definitely like to dine-in next time - and enjoy the patio

Decided to try out Pinento today. Heard a lot good things about this place on Facebook. The place was clean and the gentleman that greeted us and took our order was friendly. We ordered Jerk leg quarter rice box. It was absolutely delicious. The rice was so flavourful and the best jerk chicken I’ve had. Better than the jerk chicken I had when I was in Jamaica (which was really good too) so that says a lot. This really hit the spot. Needless to say. We will be coming back.
