We had a great experience at Pickle Barrel Yorkdale. We went with our three young kids and received a warm welcome. They placed us in a big booth, which fit the five of us with plenty of room. Our food came quickly and was delicious. Our server, Monique P. was especially wonderful. She was kind and patient and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you so much :)

It's not the best place in terms of food value for money as the menu items are priced at a premium owing to the setting and ambiance. The food is plated and presented well. It came out very appetizing. We had the Smothered Chicken and a steak order. The Smothered Chicken, composed of grilled chicken breast with creamy sauce and mashed potatoes, was a welcome choice for something different and out of the normal fare offerings for a place like this. The steak came out slightly more charred than we would have hoped, but it was OK. The service was excellent. Our server constantly roamed and checked up on us. The cushion seats or seats by the wall were annoyingly inconvenient. Sitting down, the table height is a little too high for comfort. I imagine that it seems slightly inaccessible for a good portion of customers.

I celebrated my birthday here with my besties and Fred was amazing in entertaining us, offered to take our picture, and always checking on us. Dilip was a great server and made sure we get what we wanted and needed. Made my day when they gave me a cheesecake for my bday 💕❤️ Thank you Pickle Barrel 🙏🥂

Would give this 0 stars if I could. Ordered a takeout meal to go, lady at the counter seemed to have very little clue what she was doing, forgot my order was even done until I walked back up to the counter ages later. Then I get home and see the most pathetic serving of sweet potato fries in the container. The nerve to actually charge $3.50 extra for this is disgraceful. Disappointing because I’ve ate there many times and enjoyed it. Horrible experience tonight.

I have been going to Pickel Barrell ever since I was a kid but haven't been since 2018. The last meal I had then was the chicken pesto linguine and it was the best pasta I've ever had. I was surpised 6 years has past and this item is still here and it was as good as I remembered. FYI also comes with a choice of soup of the day or salad. Today was butternut squash and it was so comforting. Defintetly worthy of coming back to again!

Had a great time with my friend on Saturday April 6, 2024. Food is nice, have good vegetarian options. The desert menu is also great. Our waiter, Sasi was kind and attentive. Checked on us few times. He was great and made our experience even better.
