Pickle Barrel

I came here with a date in New Year. Scott is our waiter and is very attentive to us even though he had many other tables to look after by himself. Our orders came in quickly, and our additional orders were taken care of quickly. He was available when we needed to order and got our order quickly. I've been here a couple of times with him as our service and it is always great service.

Yesterday I had the most wonderful dining experience thanks to my server Grace ❤️. I was gonna get the chicken fingers and substitute to fries for a salad . She recommended the Greek salad with crispy chicken. It was so delicious. It was so filling I almost couldn’t finish. I told her before I wanted dessert but had to take it for to go cause I was full. I ordered the cheese cake and she recommended it with the chocolate sauce. Also another 10/10 recommendation. Thank you Grace 🫶🏾 I had the strawberry BELLINI (3 of them 🥰) too everything was just so good.

We had an excellent time at Pickle Barrel trying their butter nut squash soup and tofu bites! Janina brought us our food very fast! Very pleasant and personable service. Thanks Janina !

Nice little spot for a dinner with friends. The pastrami on rye is quite nice. They also have a lot of gluten free option for someone with celiac. Also accomodating if you want to bring your own cake. Strawberry mocktail is also very good.

Scott was really helpful and personable. He gave great suggestions and we both really enjoyed our meal. We got the brisket grilled cheese (seasonal) and the big smoke sandwich on a gluten friendly bun.

Plain and simple, this spot is not only slipping from greatness just a year and a half ago, but it has fallen and can’t get up. Pictures are of before (the beautiful lobster eggs Benny of May 2023) vs yesterday’s zombie lobster eggs Benny. I’m sure you will know which is which. Also the rotting avocado. No passion or the least care in what they are plating and serving. I gushed and shared so many pics of their FORMER lobster eggs Benny in the past. Yesterday, this is what was presented to me for I think the same price as before. It was cold and disgusting. As a server I would have never let that get past the heat lamps and out the kitchen door. The avocado that they brought me after was rotting as well. They couldn’t even trim off the parts that had gone bad. Half the amount of lobster on the Bennies. Thankfully, I didn’t treat any of my friends there yesterday on my visit. That would have been embarrassing. The manager couldn’t even find the time to come to my table and they had maybe 10 customers total in the restaurant at 11 AM. New ownership and new management doesn’t necessarily mean better, apparently.

I visited this place yesterday with my work friends, and the experience was fantastic. The food was amazing, and although the service was a quite delayed, it was understandable given that we were a group of ten. My drink was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, making it well worth the money. My colleagues enjoyed the Sapporo beer, which came with a cool promotion—they got to take the glasses home! One thing that really impressed me was how they handled a situation with a colleague who is allergic to an ingredient in a soup. After they realized it upon tasting, the staff quickly replaced the soup without any complaints and at no extra cost. Highly recommend!
