Loved this place so much! It’s a very small venue, so I highly recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable and aesthetically appealing, creating such a cozy and inviting vibe. We ordered “Lost in the Corn Maze,” “The Wild Mushroom,” and “Pass the Pesto.” Since we’re not fans of pork, we asked our server if it could be removed, and she was so accommodating. Each pizza was absolutely amazing—the crust was perfectly delicious, and the flavors were unique and so well-balanced. We also tried their creamy garlic dip, which was a great addition. Our server/hostess/barista, Shannon (if I’m not mistaken), was like a wonder woman! She was sweet, professional, attentive, and had incredible attention to detail. Despite managing the entire floor by herself, she did an absolutely amazing job and made our experience even better. We will definitely be back, especially for their outstanding food and wonderful service!

A small restaurant with big personality! You will like it you are a fan of pizza and pasta. The food delivers. The chef was very accommodating that he made us a margarita pizza although it is not on the menu. We got the arugula/ mushroom pizza too and it was delicious. We shared a dish of Pasta and it was delicious and enough for 2. The restaurant was not busy, which made our dinner more enjoyable. We usually pick up, but dining in was great.

We booked this restaurant on their website after seeing a review on Facebook. Bravo to the influencer who posted it, it looked amazing. Unfortunately it was not. We booked a table for two. There was a $50 no-show fee. Upon arrival we were offered a seat at the bar, I booked a table, I never book the bar. The bar is not comfortable for my short legs. After arguing with me we were offered a seat on the patio. We agreed. We were shown a table beside a dirty wall. We asked for the table to be cleaned as it was sticky. The table was wiped and still sticky. We ordered drinks, and asked for specials. None. The menu is very short. So we ordered pasta and pizza. The pasta was ok but very small portions. The pizza was really good and the only reason I gave the place 2 stars. So we ate our meals. Side note lots of ants on the patio. After dinner we asked another server for the dessert menu. Our original server came out and asked what we wanted. We ordered the tiramisu as we were still hungry. The tiramisu was literally pudding with cocoa powder on top. No offer of coffee nothing. Ordered the bill and a quick visit to the bathroom. The bathroom smelled as if it had not been cleaned in months. It reeked of urine. We paid our bill and left. The service was not good, the food was ok and the atmosphere was non existent. This place is a definite skip.

Great atmosphere and well made pizzas on Harbord. Nice interior and a great patio too. Recommended for a quick bite or a quiet night in!

I have been to Piccolo Piano/Piccolo Americano a couple of times and I can tell it's one of my favorites spots in the city. Intimate, smaller place with great atmosphere, great decor, attentive service, eclectic food and an Excellent pizza! Perfect for dates or smaller groups.

I’ve been wanted to check out Piccolo Piano for a while now, so I decided to take my friend here for her birthday. Making a reservation was easy, just on Resy. We were running a little late, so they were able to accommodate that. I didn’t realize when I made the booking that I had initially booked it for the patio in the back. The restaurant is a bit small and I really like the vibe, but the patio was also really cute. It was a little cold out, but still doable. Their patio is dog friendly, if you’re looking to bring your furry friend. Service was good, just disappointed in their menu a bit. I know that it’s a pizzeria, but I was expecting along side what they were showing on their Instagram page.. maybe a carbonara dish would have been great. So one of my friend and I choose the piccolo special, which was a great deal. Got the burrata and octodog to start, which both were delicious. The bread that comes with the burrata is outstanding. For the pizza we got the the wise guy and wild mushroom. We definitely preferred the mushroom one. We also got the dips, the garlic one was the winner. With that said, one of my friends got the zucchini chili spaghetti and was not fan. I tried it and it was just lacking flavour. We ended up asking for chili flakes and chili oil. I feel like that should be on the table immediately with your food, or otherwise we should have been asked if we wanted some. The Nutella tiramisu was also very good. I would definitely return.

The vibe here is so cute. The patio is great for warmer weather and the inside is very cozy on cold days. The dough on the pizza is incredible and chewy. The quality of the food is not super consistent, sometimes it’s great and sometimes the pizza is a little soggy. Overall though, I enjoy it every time I come here . I usually get the $45 special (1 starter, 1 pizza, 1 dessert) which I think is a great deal and a lot of food! On busier nights they have a very strict turn around time and we were rushed out before we finished our wine which was unfortunate.

Great Neapolitan pizza but tad overpriced and the red neon lighting is bit off-putting personally (although some may like it!) Probably one of the better Neapolitan pies in the city but doesn’t quite hold up when compared to places like Giulietta and Revolver. The wonderful puffed appearance of the crust kind of belies how doughy it actually is- surprisingly not as airy as you’d expect and certainly not as light as some of the above-mentioned places that have mastered this. The red pie could have also used bit more sauce as it was verging on dry in some areas. Other than those small points, there’s little to complain about. The toppings were excellent, flavourful, and fresh. The service is top notch, and as are the cocktails. They have an option to get one appetizer, main, and dessert for $45 which is probably the way to go if you’re hungry, but for most people, a pie and a drink should more than suffice. Nice seating at the bar as well.
