Found another Pho place somewhat close to home! Photime is located in the same plaza where the T&T supermarket is at the northeast corner of Woodbine and 16th & is next to the aquarium store. The restaurant is well-lit, clean, spacious & modern looking. Parking in this plaza is relatively easy since the lot is huge! We went on Christmas Eve around 6:15 p.m. The place was pretty quiet, and we got seated right away. I ordered the Bún bò Huế. The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor, although on the oily side for me, which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & and ingredients, making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size, and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. We believe that there is taro in the roll, which makes it so yummy. I really liked the decor of this place! We both agreed that this is definitely a place to be included in our rolling list of Pho restaurants to eat at!

The food was fresh, light, less greasy, and much cleaner compared to other places. They don't place sauces on the tables, possibly for hygiene reasons or cost saving. My preference is to have all the sauces accessible without having to ask for them, but this way was fine as well. Would I come back? It's questionable. Maybe one more time.

Quick Service, Average Food Appetizer Chicken Satay The satays had some mild heat to them, maybe from 🌶️? Three per order Shrimp Fresh Roll Four pieces, tasted fresh, tightly rolled The sauce served with them tasted more like a hoisin than peanut sauce Grilled Chicken and Meatballs on Vermicelli Enjoy the freshness that the vegetables brought to the dish The serving of meat - both the chicken and the nragbalt was very small Dish was served with what appeared to be rice vinegar Unfortunately, vermicelli noodles are bland / flavorless, the vinegar served with the dish wasn't enough to change that My guest had the pho which looked good I'd consider returning to try it

Our experience at this restaurant was really good. The house special pho was a good size and tasted quite good, and the fresh rolls were tasty. Would say the bun bo hue broth isn't quite as flavorful as other restaurants, but still pretty good overall. It did not have the blood that normally comes with bun bo hue - something I don't care about 😂 but I'm sure there would be some people who care! Service was great, all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great too - can watch CP24 while you eat haha.

Love the atmosphere and service here. We've had the Beef Pho before and it was delicious. This time we decided to try the Phuc Kien Noodle Soup. I think it is our new favorite! It was prepared with fresh ingredients and a good variety of toppings. The shrimp cracker was also tasty and fried perfectly crispy - A delicious addition to the meal.

Fantastic Pho place - in my opinion, one of the better Pho places in the area. Most spacious one I've been to with large screen TVs and great service for large groups (10+) P5 Regular $14: Rare Beef and Beef Tendon Pho with Fresh Noodles Rich broth and surprisingly not too salty compared to others. Lots of fresh onions and herbs, and they gave a pretty decent amount of meat! It comes out in 2 minutes and is hot :) S7 $16: Vermicelli - Spring Roll and Grilled Chicken Great portion size on the chicken, spring rolls, veggie - with the fish sauce it becomes a bit tangy and is a good contrast if you've had the chance to try the Pho. I'll admit I'm not usually a Vietnamese food fan, but I was impressed with the decor, the service, and the food quality and portions!

My whole crew came by on a sat evening after badminton to grab some grub as we had been scrolling through yelp and saw that this place had a pretty high rating. It's located right next to the TnT supermarket at Woodbine and 16th and there's a ton of parking in the lot. For the most part, the appetizers were pretty good! The shrimp fresh rolls were not however. The sauce was too watery and didn't have the right consistency (it should be thick) or flavour profile (should be way more peanut-based than hoisin-based). Aside from the peanuts sprinkled on top, the dipping sauce had barely any essence of peanut in it which made the sauce lacking. The rolls themselves were heavily filled w/ vermicelli and lettuce to the point of it being too much. I know they're supposed to butterfly the shrimps but we got maybe 1-2 shrimps per fresh roll which was DEFINITELY STINGY in my honest opinion. Skip the fresh rolls altogether. The wrap and roll platter looked amazing. I think it's a showstopper when it arrives at the table. The cookery on the meat is also excellent. Noodle soups all tasted pretty good. The caveat was the portioning. While my friends' bowls all had an ample amount of sliced beef, I myself had ordered a curry brisket pho and it was NOT worth it at all. They gave me 3 small pieces of brisket, 2 ultra-chewy tendons and the rest of the bowl was noodles (all while charging $17!). Extremely, extremely stingy on the portion of meat. The curry broth was really good but I felt jilted that my friend's got so much more food than me. Lesson learned. If I ever come back I'm not ordering any noodle soup outside of P1 - P7 as they're all a bunch of ripoffs. Coconut smoothie and tri colour dessert were good. Not too sweet but very refreshing. Mixed feelings about this place. The pho is not bad at all but is the value there? I think I still prefer, Pho Anh Vu, Dear Saigon, Pho Tai Bac or Pho Le. Don't think I'd return on my own.

Super energetic staff and a hip atmosphere. We were running around doing errands and were hungry for wet noodles. We decided to try this Vietnamese place out of random. What caught us by surprise right away was the energetic staff. We were created with a cheerful smile and brought to our seats. The waitress was super attentive and took our order with precision and even recommended other things on the menu. She spoke quickly confirming our order and quickly placed it. We ordered the regular sized rare beef pho and pork and spring roll bun. A few minutes later, the food arrived at the table. It was ridiculously fast service. We tried the pho first. The flavour of the soup was good. Little salt but still hand lots of beef flavour. The bean sprouts came pre-cooked. The basil was very fresh and had the distinct pungent smell. The regular pho had a generous amount of beef in it. Bite after bite always had meat; I think there was more beef than noodles. It was definitely a pleasant surprise for sure. We tried the vermicelli next. The spring roll was very good. It has lots taro flavour. The pork was a bit underwhelming as it didn’t have the smoky grilled flavour. It was still good though. We would definitely come back and eat here again. Just wear clothes that you plan to launder soon as the restaurant smell will cling to you and follow you home.
