Pho Xyclo

This is definitely a hidden gem. Restaurants along Lundys Lane and in and around the casinos are always overpriced, and I’m glad to have found this eatery that doesn’t break the bank. We came here on a Sunday night, in a sleepy plaza about 10m away from the touristy area. Nothing special about the decor, the typical tables and chairs that you’d find in any pho places. We ordered pho, vermicelli bowl and the sizzling beef. All items came out piping hot. The beef was flavourful and tender, though I wish there were more of it. The pho had a nice broth and a good ratio of toppings to noodles. The vermicelli bowl came with a crunchy spring roll (which I didn’t eat because my kids ate it all) and delicious pork pieces. Only thing that was strange was that they wanted to charge for tea (which is usually free at other Vietnamese establishments). The waiter were tentative, it wasn’t very busy that night. I will surely come back to Pho Xyclo the next time I’m in the falls.

Close to the falls . Pho soups were good. I had the rare steak and wife had chicken pho . We shared the calamari appetizer which was really good. I didn’t think it was the best pho but def a place I will come back for as the menu looked delicious w a wide variety of main dishes . I wish they served bahn mi Sammie’s but that’s okay. Their spring rolls (bbq pork and shrimp) was one of the best and freshest I had . Would def recommend this place for solo to large groups. Prices were a little higher than my normal dish of pho and apps but worth it .

Superb experience in Niagara Falls! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Tried the recommended large $19 House Special, with eye round, veal flank, tripe and beef balls. The size serves two not very hungry people. The combination was unique and the colander and bean sprouts helped to elevate the flavour. Atmosphere is fine, playing pop music all throughout. Overall a really nice and affordable dining experience.

Tom Yam noodles was sooooo good!! We visited with 1 yr old baby last week and all staffs were so nice and kind for us! All food we ordered were so delicious👍🏻 Highly recommend here!

Loved the food! I’ve been craving that flavor since I left. My mom had never tried pho before and she liked it a lot. Decent atmosphere, more casual dining feel, very nice staff, and great food options. I wish this place was near my hometown.

Spring roll: The crispy spring roll is a nice appetizer, and it seems to be quite popular since the table next to me also ordered it. Good job! Grilled pork and chicken vermicelli: generous portion. Neatly plated dish and it tastes great. Would recommend. Thanks Pho Xyclo, your service was great and the servers were all welcoming and very helpful.

The pho is so-so - not bad and not amazing. The staff is nice enough but they were busy, so they gave us a very quick run down on how things work. We did not quite catch it all, but since the employee was so busy, we let him continue his work and we would figure it out. The sizing wasn't clear, so I included a pic of the size differences for others to reference. The food was quick, which was a great thing, as we were very hungry 😄.

Very spacious space. Generous portion for food. Unconventional ordering system by writing down your own order, which makes it very clear for the waiters to serve you. Spring rolls - 4/5 - nice and crispy, but lacked a tad of seasoning for the fillings. Viet Iced Coffee - 5/5 Laksa Chicken - 3.5/5 - chicken were thinly sliced but not the best seasoning. Tofu puffs were nice Catfish claypot - 4.5/5 - very hard to find good Viet restaurants with good catfish. First piece was very tender and cooked perfectly but the other pieces got cooked too long in the claypot and became a little mushy.
