You’ll find a lot of filling and little wrapper in their deep-fried spring rolls ($6 for two). With the delicate skin and ample filling, the spring rolls have a light juicy quality that makes you want to have a second. Maybe I can’t share these anymore. Hulking beef bones are now the rage at Vietnamese restaurants. Pho Thanh Cong’s beef rib pho ($22) arrives with two decently sized bones as well as a handful of shaved beef. There’s a lot of toppings so you won’t be left with a bowl filled with noodles. And while the beef ribs don’t have a lot of flavours on its own, the restaurant offers a lot of condiments including three types of hot sauce and garlic slivers. After creating a sauce of hoisin, garlic chili, and garlic slivers and slathering it onto the ribs, they were delicious. The rare beef and brisket rice noodle soup ($17 for medium) also has a hefty portion of protein. Although the rare beef was very lean so some diners may find it tough. Still, the broth was full of flavour and perfectly seasoned, so much so that I could enjoy the pho without any condiments. Sometimes it’s nice to just savour the beef broth and herbs sprinkled throughout.

This newly opened Vietnamese noodle place, amongst all other ones that have opened, is a bit disappointing. Came here on a Wed afternoon and we were the only table. Which probably was a sign of warning that I didn't head. The decor is decent and they removed the mid column that used to be present from the old owners. We order the house special pho and a crab noodle. The whole special is a bit oily than normal pho and not a lot of meat came with it , While the soup for the crab noodle tasted fairy watered down, and even though it said crab, ah don't really find a hint of it. Overall would not recommend as the pricing is aligned with the other famous pho restaurant but the quality doesn't match up

I have tried lots of pho and this one is very refreshing! The broth is light and flavorful, grilled pork is perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes are generous. I could eat a lot of this... Would recommend you try for sure. Bonus points for a relaxing atmosphere and running water feature 😊

It’s really good - they have a milk viet coffee if you’re not used to something strong. They are generous on the vegetables. The only thing I would say is I’m a bit disappointed there’s no steam egg option. And the bathroom wasn’t very clean/ had no toilet paper. Overall great though

Amazing food, great portions. New place so when we went there was a grand opening promotion. The broth in the pho was really good, probably one of the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of pho and have been to Vietnam before. The broth has just the right flavours and was not salty, it was just flavorful. We drank it all up. The spicy lemongrass and the bun dishes were also great and good. The service was great, very attentive to us. Edit: Reading some other reviews about lack of flavour/bland, I think that if you are expecting heavy salty flavours than maybe you might not notice the subtlety and nuanced delicate flavours that makes the meal feel almost homemade, at least the pho broth in particular in my opinion.

We’re from Montreal and travel to Toronto for vacation and randomly want to this restaurant in Scarborough. I had to say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve ever tried in Canada, as far as I experienced my whole life. I highly recommend everyone to try their signature dishes such as: Bun Long Doi & Cha Ca La Vong. We’ll be back here next time when we had a chance to come to Toronto again.

This Pho just opened just over 2 weeks now and we tried it last week. I see the reviews and I see 5 stars and others that had issues (1 or2 stars) and it was the same with us when we ate here. There was no flavor in the fried noodles or the Pho soup we had. Yes, disappointed but, I hope they will improve on the quality/taste and maybe in the future we will try again. I thought the Pho pricing is a bit pricy for the portion that I had ($18 for a medium).and expected more...
