I recently had the pleasure of dining at Phi Ngon Dat Viet, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was absolutely delicious — each bite was a delight! But the star of the show was undoubtedly the broth. It was beyond exceptional, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. You could taste the care and craftsmanship that went into making it. The freshness of the herbs and the quality of the ingredients were evident, elevating the entire dish to another level. I highly recommend Pho Ngon Dat Viet to anyone seeking an authentic Pho experience. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their incredible offerings! --- Feel free to add any personal touches or specific dishes you enjoyed!

Had the special pho, the broth was lacking the earthiness that I'd expect with Pho restaurants in Toronto. It's not a busy spot for a Saturday lunch hour and the decor was nice though.

Excellent food and atmostphere. Specially love chicken feet salad. Pho broth and portion is great. They have issue with google map so not many customers recently.

Food and atmosphere were pretty good. Service was bad for a few reasons. They kept missing items that my group ordered as well as a few wait staff weren't fluent in English. We ordered 3 different bowls of pho and 2 of them couldn't tell us which one was which until a third wait staff was able to tell us. There was one female wait staff that did understand us and kept checking in to make sure we had everything. Props to her trying to make out visit better. It's hard to tell if they were having a one off night or if something happened with the wait staff team, but this place may be to not overcomplicate your order and you'll have a good experience.

Great Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a plaza in the Yonge St and Steeles Ave W area on the York Region side. The restaurant is traditionally decorated with many interesting and beautiful items. The food is fresh and delicious, and the portions are more than enough for the average diner. The prices are slightly more than your average Vietnamese restaurant but I think it's well worth it because of the quality of the food and extensive decor. This is a very nice place to take your family or a date, or even your date's family. 😉 There is plenty of parking as it is in a plaza. Staff were friendly.

This place is located at the back of a plaza but they have a lot of free parking space. We came here around 8pm on a Saturday and the place was not busy. We ordered the #12. Special Rice Noodle Soup (Large - $19.95) and the #6. Salt Roasted Squid ($12.50). The Pho was good. It had a good amount of meat and the broth was flavourful. The powder they put on the squid dish gave it a nice flavour but the squid itself was very chewy. They had big portions. The Large Pho could be shared by 3-4 people while the squid could be shared by 2. The place looked great and it had a nice vibe. The customer service was fine. It was a nice dining experience.

Food: 3 Stars Service: 3 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 3 Stars Overall: 3 Stars After seeing PHO NGON DAT VIET all over my social media when it first opened, I decided to give it a try, expecting a stellar experience given the hype. Starting with the Pho, I found it quite enjoyable. The soup base was flavourful without being overly salty, and the toppings were plentiful, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the portion size of the rice dish left much to be desired; it was smaller than I anticipated. We also ordered the Bun Bo Hue, but sadly, it didn’t meet our expectations. We have definitely had better versions of this dish elsewhere, and it lacked the robust flavours we were hoping for. Our visit was during a busy weekend, and the service was lacking. We frequently had to search for a staff member rather than having them check on us. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing and detracted from our dining experience. One particular aspect that stood out was the billing process. When it was time to settle the bill, we had to get up and line up at the front desk to pay. This felt unusual and inconvenient, as we expected the staff to bring the bill to our table. In conclusion, while the Pho was decent and had generous toppings, there is room for improvement in the portion sizes and the overall service. I hope these areas are addressed in the future to enhance the dining experience.

My bf chose this restaurant for us to try because it’s very popular in Chinese communities. It is located independently in a “not so great looking plaza”. But again it stands still like a queen that she is, looking fancy 😊 that was the first impression. The food is indisputably phenomenal; it’s so beautiful to look at. A feast. The decor has traditional unique feel to it. The cherry on top is the price. I think it’s pretty good, compared to the portion. It’s HUGE. Now it comes the service. And please don’t get me wrong, staff did an excellent job at giving the best service possible. We came at 8.30 PM and we ordered quite a lot of food. It was full on our table. Occasionally I inquired a staff (I only saw a female server around, other male servers were cleaning, hence not around) to give me napkins, or get more noodles (it’s charged 3.5 for extra fyi) and water etc. I also politely asked her to move the empty trays away so I could take more pics. She appeared grumpy, and stomped her feet away. At last she slammed the bottle of water on the table & gave me a slight look. After that she was not in the vicinity. But I was thankful because I think the male servers were more pleasant to deal with. I can understand it was a Friday and busy and going to close soon and she couldn’t wait to leave. But other staff members were going through the same issue too. On my side, I’m a customer and my purpose to come to the restaurant was to enjoy the restaurant food & service. I think it’s not fair to put all of those personal issues on customers. I’m also a business owners of several businesses, which including national and international fast food franchise. If my staff behaves this way behind my back, I’ll lose all customers. However, I’ll introduce my friends and family to come and enjoy the food. It’s truly fantastic option among the rest.
