I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Ngon Dat Viet in Kensington Market, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what was to come. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the broth. It was rich and flavorful, with layers of depth that you can only achieve through careful preparation and high-quality ingredients. Each sip was a comforting embrace, and I found myself savoring every drop. The fresh ingredients were another standout feature. The vegetables were crisp, the herbs fragrant, and the proteins were cooked to perfection. You could tell that everything was thoughtfully sourced, and it truly elevated the entire dining experience. Whether you're a pho enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Pho Ngon Dat Viet is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their incredible dishes. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food. You get quite a lot for what you order. I ordered bun rieu cua (tomato crab noodle soup) and they served it with a whole soft shell crab, which is not something I’ve seen often with bun rieu cua so it’s very much appreciated. My husband ordered the stone bowl pho and it came with a tower of ingredients - very unique experience eating pho! Service was excellent and very thoughtful. We definitely want to come back and try other dishes

Service here is phenomenal! Our server was super kind and attentive, made us love the place before we even had looked at the menu. We ordered the rare beef pho along with the crispy chicken wings. Both hit the spot! The wings were dry rubbed seasoned and a good size. The Pho might actually be one of my top 3 in Toronto. I have to go back an order again to give it a good comparison to other spots. Definitely recommended!

This spot offers some dishes that aren’t typically found in most Viet restaurants in Toronto, like bun cha or the clams with sesame rice crackers, which I think is awesome and would wanna try the next time I come. I ordered the cha gio, bun rieu (which came w soft shell crab 😻) and bun bo hue. The portions were super generous and they were all delicious. The service was great as well. 5/5 :) I will definitely be coming back as well as recommending this spot to others

The food is delicious and decent portion. Nice interior, rare to see this level of effort at most viet restaurants in the city. Service is par for the course, flag someone down when you need something. Standard pricing for Toronto. Overall recommended, would go back. Ideal for sharing a few dishes with friends.

So there I was, wandering through Chinatown, in the mood for some Vietnamese. I whipped out Google Maps, typed in “good Vietnamese food,” and this place popped up with high ratings. I thought, "Why not?" and went for it. Ordered the pho ga (yep, that’s chicken pho for us noobs). A friendly guy greeted us, didn’t catch his name, but he’s a uni student, and get this: we were both rocking Casio Royale watches. Instant bond. The place was buzzing, but I managed to order my pho ga. Came in sizes, too, and my watch buddy suggested medium. Perfect call, filled me up just right. Even got extra chicken to keep my muscles in check. Chef’s kiss, it was delicious 😋 👨🍳 I paid in cash (pro tip: you get a 10% discount for cash), slapped down an 18% tip because service was top-notch. Free water? Check. Free bathroom? Check. And bonus points: definitely hitting this spot up next time I'm in Toronto😉

New Vietnamese restaurant in Kensington market. I ordered the bun Bo hue, which had generous portions and the food was fantastic. The whole menu looked really good and I took a long time to decide what to order - will definitely come back to try their extensive menu! Restaurant is very well decorated and has a clean and spacious interior. Staff is really friendly, and service was good, although I did wait a bit for my food when I was the only one in the restaurant. Nevertheless, I Would recommend giving this place a try.

Food was tasty. Bun bo hue was a little oilier than other spots but was very tasty and generous amounts of toppings and meat. Shrimp fresh rolls were huge. Seating was decently spacious. Food took around 10-15 mins before it was served. Worth a try if you’re in the area!
