Move over pho restaurants in North York... a new challenger has arrived. Pho Kim brings a refreshing execution level of simple authentic Vietnamese cuisine dishes. So far I've tried their pho, bun cha, butter chicken wings, broken rice, fried rice, and three types of traditional vietnamese desserts (soft tofu, flan, and fermented rice balls in rum). Every dish was 5/5. At my latest visit I ordered the broken rice with grilled pork. I was amazed at how juicy and well seasoned the pork was. It was the best grilled pork I've ever had in my life. The cabbage side dish was pickled to perfection and had an awesome bite texture. I keep coming back for more because I'm generally curious about trying the entire menu. I like how they serve pandan tea here and feel that it's actually a great neutral palette cleanser. This restaurant is spacious, bright, clean, friendly, and the staff are really connected with their cooks. It shows a lot of pride in their food and care about how they operate... and to be frank, that's a rarity in Vietnamese restaurants. Bravo Pho Kim! PS - I've edited this review probably 5x now because I keep having more things to rave about. I truly wish everyone will get a chance to eat here and enjoy the food as much as I have!

Newly opened spot on Jane. Spacious, used to be a grocery store. Clean and plenty of parking. The only place I’ve been to that gives pandan infused tea 100/10!!!! The fish sauce wings was fresh, crispy, sticky, and seasoned perfectly. The bun mam and bun bo hue was also tasty. The bun bo hue could use more lemongrass. The bun bo hue doesn’t look spicy when it first come out, but it will change once you mix it, I forgot to take a photo after mixing. The bun mam was great and came with plenty of protein such as fish, shrimp and pork belly. Definitely will come back to try more items.

First time eating here, early weekday dinner. Clean and not busy. I had the pho with shrimp, large bowl for $16.95 including tax before tip. Huge bowl (pictured) with 7 very large firm tasty shrimp. Delicious soup and noodles. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. Update 25.10.2025: Came back for dinner, had the seafood pad Thai. Also delicious and a huge serving. I am stuffed. Thinking about the next time I can come back and have the pho again

In an area filled with a cornucopia of Vietnamese restaurants ; Pho Kim at 2231 Jane Street, stands out as clean and friendly with very good food-The owner is a bright young man from Windsor, who was a formally, a microbiologist -who was hired the one of the best Vietnamese Chefs from Mississauga and has poured his heart and soul into this restaurant ,making sure your dining experience was a pleasure. The food was excellent. I had the spring rolls, Singapore noodles, and Bun Thai (spicy soup ) No problem if your Vietnamese isn’t up to par , as English is not a problem- all in all a very good experience
