pho ha noi had a lot of good reviews on google, especially for late night eats (they open until 4 am), so it was perfect for us looking for something to eat at around midnight. it has a lot of buzz around it, so we decided to give it a try. visiting during the holidays meant it was especially busy—our wait time was around 25-30 minutes, which seemed to be the norm for most people waiting for a table. unfortunately, there isn’t much of a waiting area, and standing near the entrance in the cold winter air wasn’t ideal. the restaurant is located in a somewhat rundown plaza, and the area feels a bit unsafe and sketchy, especially at night. parking was also a bit tricky; the lot is small and navigating it can be a challenge. once seated, we were given complimentary ice-cold tap water, but there were no utensils on the table, so we had to ask for those. we ordered pho, grilled chicken, and hot tea. sadly, the timing of everything was quite off—the pho came about 1 hour after ordering, the grilled chicken another 18-20 minutes after that (only after we reminded them), and the tea arrived after three reminders, just as i was finishing my chicken. it didn’t help that another table seated much later than us got their food well before we did. the pho itself was a bit of a letdown. the broth lacked depth, so we added what we thought was hoisin sauce to enhance it, but the sauce seemed stale, which ruined the flavor. unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it. the grilled chicken was decent, though it felt like the plate leaned heavily on the rice portion rather than the protein. overall, the meal felt unbalanced and unsatisfying, especially since my partner had already finished eating well before my food even arrived. it’s worth noting that the staff were clearly overwhelmed—there were only three people working, including the cashier, in a very packed restaurant. it made getting their attention quite difficult. while we understand how busy the holidays can be, the overall experience left us feeling a bit disappointed. we spent almost two hours including waiting around, for sub par food. maybe it was just an off night for them, but we likely won’t be back anytime soon.

I recently visited Pho Ha Noi 54 and had an exceptional dining experience! I tried the Bún Chả Hanoi for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing. I wasn’t quite sure how to eat it at first, but the waitress was incredibly kind and took the time to show me the different ways to enjoy the dish, which made it even better. My girlfriend had the Bún Bò Nướng & Chả Giò Gà, and she was just as impressed with her meal. The environment was warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. What really stood out to me was that they’re open super late, which is a rare find when you’re looking for quality food past 9 PM. This is definitely a place to keep in mind for late-night cravings or just a great meal any time of the day. Highly recommended!

I randomly drove past this place tonight with my boyfriend and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and will be a new customer. The restaurant is very clean and nicely renovated. The food is delicious and properly portioned. Moreover, the staff is friendly! Thank you for having us😊!

We ordered a large order of the beef fresh rolls, a large rare beef, brisket, and tripe pho, and the bun bo hue. It is a LOT of food! The grilled beef in the fresh rolls is very tasty, and massive compared to other fresh rolls we've had. The soup in the pho and bun bo hue is great, a little more fish sauce used compared to other pho places, but still well balanced! The beef is soft, and prices for the pho is kinda average compared to other pho places. The coffee is well balanced and not too sweet as well! Would recommend to others!

I like this place because it's open until late every day (4am) which means you can always grab a nice bowl of hot soup if you got that late night craving. This is especially important when most (99%) of places close before 11 and we Asians love to eat late at night. It's not the best bowl of Pho you'll find around and it's definitely not Hanoi style pho, but it's a decent bowl at a reasonable price. They even had vegetarian section for my veggie friend and she liked the food so that's a big bonus. It's not my first choice for pho but you still won't regret coming here.
