Pho Golden Star

This was an unexpected gem; extremely authentic, fresh, well prepared, with a well designed menu, and with quick and clear service. The selection was far more rich than any of the other Vietnamese places in the area, and the taste made me forget I was in Toronto for a while. I went in thinking I'd just get a bowl of soup, but instead I ended up with an entire ethnic experience trying. I look forward to visiting this place many more times in the future.

When we visited there, it wasn't too much busy but we had to wait 45mins for the foods. Bun Dau has a large portion comparing with their price, good taste as well. I pretty like the taste of the beef in Pho xao gion, but the noodles was so so. The only inconvenience was no parking area, we had to drive back to Walmart for parking there and walking to the restaurant. I'd like to try more things here again but hopefully their service speed improves. Thank you!

The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service. They offered generous portions with exceptional taste. If you're looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this spot is definitely worth the visit. Can't wait to return!!!

The cost of the meal was somewhat high in comparison to the standard of the food. Our order consisted of three items, and the total bill, including gratuity, amounted to approximately $110. The chicken wings were satisfactory, although the portion size was inconsistent, with a combination of small and larger wings. The accompanying sticky rice was insufficient for sharing among three individuals. My spouse found the Banh Da soup to be lacking in flavor. The Bun Ca soup did not possess the characteristic flavor profile associated with this dish and instead tasted predominantly of dill. The fish was not crispy as expected but rather soggy. The Bun Dau Mam Tom was partially enjoyable, with the blood sausage and tofu being particularly noteworthy. The remaining components were acceptable, but the sauce was excessively sweet. In conclusion, we would opt to dine at an alternative establishment in the future.

The bún đậu mắm tôm platter was bomb. The stir fried pho could have more seasoning and beef 😊 bún chả cá was light and easy to eat. They’re a new restaurant don’t be too hard on them 💖

I’ve been here 2 times. Definitely come back for sure! Must try if you miss Vietnamese foods. The staffs are so friendly!!! I ordered BÁNH BÒ to take out. Perfect for dessert!

A new promising contender for the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. I would never expect to experience the authentic short rib Hanoi porridge here, and it’s the perfect option for the colder season. The place is spacious and staff is attentive. Would definitely come back to try all of their menu.

I went lots of Pho place but only here has variety of dishes that I never tried before besides Pho, so this place will have more options not just Pho, good place for family and company to gather have dinner and talk. Highly recommend! For sure will be back again. Recommend to order crab sticky rice and their signature dishes.
