Pho Dau Bo Restaurant

It was a cold day, so we decided to have some noodle soup. We ordered their beef noodles special size extra large $14.50 Portion was not great, very little meat, mainly noodle and soup. I use to go to their North York location and the Portion is fair. Will not be coming back Scarborough location.

Markham branch! I’ve been coming back here many times because I really love the food. The only thing I didn’t like is that after we dinned in, we were already outside the store, the lady chased me and told me that I should give them a tip. That time I didn’t give a tip because our order was straightforward and not complicated. The servers didn’t do anything except just serve our very simple order, noodle soup, and that’s it. I was shocked, and just ended up giving a tip even though I didn’t have enough cash. I was really hungry and wanted to eat. Besides, I’m always coming back there with my husband to dine, and I give tip especially if I have extra cash. Do we really need to give tip every single time that we go to your store??? It was a turned off for me when this lady ran after me and said I should give them a tip. We dined in other restaurants too, and I have never encountered such trait from the servers like this lady. Some servers are thankful if given a tip, but they don’t run after the customer if they don’t receive any. The food was good. Only this lady server I don’t like. Please don’t chase the customers and tell them to give you a tip. Being observant, we know when servers deserve a tip or not! I kept coming back in this store because I love the food, but I stopped because of this lady server! The servers in other branch are not like her though!

Their staff is highly hostile. Very unfriendly servers. I found a mosquito in my pho. Though i love their chicken noodle soup/pho but being a regular i have been treated rudely. Cash only place

Very solid pho spot. The value is amazing here with large portion sizes and good amount of meat in the pho. I would describe the pho broth as being on the saltier/stronger side. The pork chop rice was also quite delicious. Girlfriend also enjoyed their iced coffee with condensed milk.

Another Pho kind of night brought me to Pho Day Bo. This restaurant is a big place and lots of space. Clean restaurant, neat and tidy. Can't complain about the location, located long Markham and Lawrence with plenty of parking. For the service, it was quick because the time I came to dine in it wasn't busy. Food came extremely quick. Now to the food, spring roll was standard. Average size and had the right amount of crispy. The Pho Dac Biet was lacking in toppings, only had one meatball. The Tom Yum is fine. Good enough amount of seafood. Overall this place is not a bad option for pho. Definitely in my top 6 Vietnamese Pho place.
