I am a self proclaimed connoisseur of Vietnamese Pho, and I’ve tried hundreds of pho restaurants around the country and world. I rarely forget to take photos of my food. I must have been so happy with the speed that my soup was made that I just started feasting. It took the kitchen about 1-2 minutes to get my pho house special order made and served to my table! Super fast and great service. The soup was delicious, light, perfectly balanced and satisfying in quantity. I will be back and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys pho.

This remains one of my favorite authentic Vietnamese pho places. The highlight is definitely the broth. It is clear, not oily/fatty, yet super savory and flavorful. The beef used is a bit too lean, but for the price I really can't complain.

I never come to the west side of town, so took the opportunity to try out some pho in the neighborhood. This restaurant is located in an older low rise strip mall on Finch. There's ample surface parking. As an experienced pho connoisseur, the pho here was average. The broth was underwhelming and lacked dimension. The saltiness was not balanced with sufficient sweetness and it overwhelmed the broth spices (e.g. cardamom, star anise, etc). On the plus side, they serve sawtooth coriander and the staff speak Vietnamese which lends to authenticity. The toppings of rare beef and tendon were good, thinly sliced and tender respectively - no complaints. It wouldn't take much to get to 4 stars - just a tweak to the broth recipe (add some more rock sugar and a touch less salt)!

This is the best Pho place I have ever gone too. My family’s new favourite place. The portions and prices are great. Taste is phenomenal.

A really good place to try some Vietnamese food. I got the Bún Bò Hué (Hué style Beef and Pork in Spicy Soup) and the Vegetable Spring Rolls. Both were really good and so was the service. I definitely recommend this place.

First time here. I think this place is a chain Vietnamese restaurant. Pretty basic in tes of broth flavoring and service wasn't anything to write home about. Overall I would probably still return if I was in the area and wanted some Vietnamese food. I think I would still recommend this place to those who like Vietnamese food and are nearby.

Craving Pho as always and was nearby this area, so decided to give this place a try. Came here on a Tuesday around 6pm and the place had a few people dining in. This place is fairly big and can sit a lot of customers, so I wonder if they get extremely busy during rush hours. If they do, I'm sure they can manage given the space. So no worries if you're with a big group. For the service, it was pretty quick. Got seated right away and the menu is already on the table along with the paper where you write down your order. The food came pretty quick as well. Again, would like to mention it wasn't busy so service level may change when you visit at a busier time. Now for the food... This one is a bit different. I was expecting to try their Pho Dac Biet, but issue is, I didn't see it on the menu. You can choose your Meat combination. This is actually neat since it keeps the menu minimalistic. The "Pho Dac Biet" I ordered is generous with the topping. Broth is good and not too salty like other places. The Spring Roll is crispy but thin. For the seafood dish, it tasted like Wonton Soup. Overall, can't go wrong with this place to get your Vietnamese cuisine cravings satisfied.

As of writing this review they’ve now allowed indoor dining during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve been coming to pho dau bo for years and they’ve now renovated the interior. Everything looks clean, the food is still great, and all tables and chairs are distanced accordingly. I’m kinda sad about the limited menu, the dish I usually order banh cuon isn’t on the menu right now, but I hope in the future they add it back again.
