Pho con Bo

Excellent pho rare beef and brisket, size medium. Great bean sprouts, lime and basil for garnish. This busy restaurant has quick service.

Honestly for all the good reviews and “history” of this place, I found the food to be very mediocre. The broth is not flavourful, the not hot enough, and there were random pieces of fat floating in my broth. The quality has definitely gone down. I also got the Bun Bo Hue and it was lacking in lemon grass flavour, spice & doesn’t even come with mint. Other places are way better like Toronto Pho (surprisingly).

We ordered a vermicelli dish and had a piece of hair . The noodles were overcooked that I could not use my chopsticks . The quality of the food was poor overall. We also ordered Pho Special, hardly any meat. The price had gone up which is understandable, at least keep up with the quality of the dishes. It use to be one of the best spots in toronto but not anymore.

Phở at this location is not as great as it used to be. Pho broth is not hot enough, should be boiling hot when it poured on rare beef to cook it. Pho flavor gone down too. Look like this is different management and chef / cooks. Beef balls is just pathetic, soft as raw dough, should be medium chewy texture as it supposed to be. Service is ok, I ordered cooked bean sprouts (written in the order), and they bring out un-cooked.!?! The server quickly fix it, but it’s how you know if they care enough of their customers!

Authentic Vietnamese beef Pho restaurant, you can tell by the smell when you stepped into the restaurant. Quite busy during a Monday afternoon. We ordered a rare beef rice noodle, com with chicken and pork chop, and also tried the steamed rice roll. I should say both Pho and Com are ok, however, the steamed rice roll was really out of my expectation, and is a must try in my next visit.

Pho is my therapy, and this is my favourite pho place. Yeah I drive 30 min to have a pho here. Literally best I’ve had. Their tea(esp cold one) is phenomenal. They make everything in their kitchen. And who likes plastic spoons? They have metal ones, love it. Never seen dirty/greasy spoons at any table here. Don’t go to anywhere else. Open at 9 am. Since 1998. 12/10. Hands down. Best pho. This is one of my favourite pho restaurants in Toronto. I've been here many times (for both dine in and take out) and the food never disappoints. I usually order pho with tripe, tendon and beef brisket. The broth is flavourful and lots of meat is included (unlike some other pho restaurants that skimp out on meat). Service is quick and the washroom is clean enough. The only downside is that Pho con Bo has significantly increased their prices over the last few years.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Good value for the money. The pho broth is balanced in taste and not overwhelming. I usually get the house special pho which includes rare beef, tripe, tendon and beef balls; generous portions of ingredients and noodles. They only take debit card and cash.
