Pho B & T Viet Thai Restaurant

I've gone to many many other thai-vietnamese places but the food here is better and consistent - and THE BEST spring rolls. And yes some of the people at the table get their food before others and some may get their mains along with their appetizers, and the decor may not be amazing but that's part of the charm. It's a solid food choice with a lot available - I love their beef and eggplant (the eggplant is cooked perfectly), Pho is great, and they have a full page of vegetarian options.

For the price it is not worth it at all I ordered a mango salad and there was only few mango slices on top. Never happened to me before. Lettuce on the bottom?? It does not look like the picture on their website at all I miss my pho place in Mississauga !!!

I enjoy Ben Thanh, but my experience at this location was a little underwhelming compared to my experiences at the Burlington location. I've visited various Ben Thanh establishments many times over the years. It's one of my favorite places to get pho. I recommend getting beef brisket pho over the lean beef, as the meat is much more tender. The deep fried Vietnamese spring rolls are incredible. This location I found the beef portions in the pho was a somewhat small compared to others. On this occasion I had the sate broth added to my pho, which was nice. Service at this location was slow during our visit. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant has some patrons, but it was not super busy. There seemed to be only 2 servers, so they might have been overwhelmed. Food was a bit slow to come, and one of us had to wait 10+ minutes after everyone else had been served, to be servered their for the first of two dishes. Their second dish came when the rest of us were nearly finished. After receiving our meals, the servers did to return to our table - we had to go to the front desk to get and pay our bills. Overall, our experience was okay. I'm willing to give this location another shot - I think I might have visited on a bad night.

I've been going for years, and the food is always amazing. Their cheese wantons are AMAZING, and their soups are so good. The broth is so rich, but I miss their ramen :( We ordered 6 items that came to ~78$ +tip, which in my book is a good deal

We eat here a lot and used to at the former location. Typically the service is prompt and the servers are very nice. Dine in or take out are wonderful. Sometimes the restaurant can be very busy so expect to wait a little bit. Food is typically great and we have had predominantly positive experiences here. Good portions too. As a family with some dietary restrictions they have always been helpful and accommodating.

Early 2020, Dine-in review only. Been here a couple of times. They were very cautious and up to standard with the COVID procedures. Distancing of tables, hand sanitizers etc. Every time we come here, there’s a variety of races that frequent the restaurant so this place caters to all! Also seen some other regulars too. We came here one too often, that the lady (owner?) recognized us lol 🤣 … The menu here is HUGE!! Take your time to browse it all. Menu was digital via a QR code (although you can ask for a physical menu) but you write your order + check in time on a sheet of paper. We’ve tried the vermicelli bowls (pic is grilled pork balls, bbq pork, spring rolls) which was yummy! Never had grilled pork balls before and it was surprisingly good. Also tried the pho (duh!) — good. The broth takes me back to my comfort place. I really like their seafood laksa here, although not spicy enough for me but the flavour is there plus they used the right noodles. They also gave a variety of seafood which is great. Also had their Tom Yum Beef Noodles and I enjoyed that too. Tried the Beef Hor Fun and Singapore Vermicelli Noodles too… Overall, never really had a bad meal here. Only opinion is that the portions MAY be a bit tiny as we always ordered 3 dishes, or a larger size to fill us up. The washrooms here are also kept neat and tidy, but do require you to have a mask while entering! Either way, really recommend this place. Both Viet and Chinese food options are good!

This place is one of the best and longest standing Viet-Thai restaurants in the city, and one of the best for authetic flavour (not necessarily authentic dishes). The food is really good and the portions are reasonable for the price, especially considering its central location in the much more pricey downtown area of the city. Service is pleasant and the decor is really pleasant also. Overall you should expect to pay about $60 for two including drinks, for this you can try multiple dishes and get a really good cross section of whats on offer. I recommend this place especially if you haven't tried it, its a local landmark and the food is never dissappointing.
