Pho Anh Vu is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
Since our beginnings in 2019, we’ve spared no detail in recreating Vietnam’s most famous dishes: From northern Vietnam comes our distinctive beef Pho, with its rich, savoury amber broth made from premium cuts of beef and fresh herbs and spices, simmered for up to 15 hours. From the north, there’s the flavourful pork-based Bun Cha Hanoi; from the coast, there’s Hai Phong’s signature spicy, exciting fish and noodle dish, Bun Cha Ca. Each of our dishes captures the unique history, culture, and environment of the area they came from, making for an unforgettable dining experience.

This is the 2nd Pho Anh Vu location I've been to. They are busy during lunch hour. Expect the restaurant to be full. Overall the food tastes good, and was served hot and fresh. Prices are also reasonable. One criticism I have is that they likely use lots of MSG, as you'll find that you will be quite thirsty after eating here. This location is close to Yorkdale Mall.

They really focus on the popular items, the staples of Vietnamese cuisine and they do it well. Since discovering Pho An Vu, I have gone multiple times to a couple locations. Each restaurant has a unique flair to them, adding pretty trees and things. I also happened to come on the day of the owners daughters birthday and had iced Vietnamese coffee which is just so darn delicious. Anyways the Pho and Bun are very well portioned, I was actually quite satisfied with both dishes. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy and packed full of meat and things. Noodles cooked to perfection. And for the pho, they give so much meat. You certainly pay a higher dollar for quality, as I go back to those old school places in various neighborhoods, I just notice those differences and compare it to here. It is now my new added staple spot for Vietnamese food.

The restaurant got a nice decors, food got a lot topping but not authentic, service was a mess (too many people working and none of them are really a server, no one refill tea/no water and everyone are all bussers).

A Vietnamese friend recommended this restaurant, and I highly recommend it as well. We tried the Mango Salad, Special Rice Noodle Soup, Grilled Pork, and Spring Rolls & Shrimp on Sugarcane with Vermicelli Noodles. Every single dish was fantastic. The Mango Salad, in particular, was the best I've ever had at this location.

Very authentic Vietnamese food. Busy place, even in week days. Service is prompt and attentive. Food prep is fast, hot, ingredients is fresh, huge portions; I can only finish 1/2 bowl of my Bún Bò Huế.

Good presentation of the dishes with generous portions. Not 100% authentic as we got back in Vietnam but the food tastes nice. Recommend when you are in the area!

Came here for my friend’s birthday dinner and had a great time. We reserved a big table and they had it ready for us as soon as we were there. The waiter took care of us right away and got us our appetizers really quickly. The main dish was really filling and incredibly flavourful, however if you can’t handle spice I’d advise you to take the less spicy options. Other than that we had an amazing time!
