Best Vietnamese food ever!!!!! Had a wonderful dinner with amazing service. The mango salad was to die for, orange juice was so fresh, grilled chicken was delicious and spring rolls are incredible! Everything was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. Will be coming back soon and recommending it to everyone!

Beautiful pho restaurant that just opened this location recently, prices are very reasonable for the size and quality of the portions, and they have a nice selection of different options. It was pretty busy when we got there, but the wait wasn’t too long for a Friday evening. Staff was very friendly, and service was quick. It’s cash or debit only!

Made a reservation at the wrong location. The Don Mills one took our party of 5 graciously. And immediately. Super friendly at every touchpoint. Pho was super tasty. Portions are reasonable. Spring rolls were outstanding. The meats used in all were top quality. Mango salad could be less sweet. Would definitely go back.

Loved it, loved it, loved it, except the price. Food was delicious, service was great, renovated venue looked very nice. Really liked the sauces and side dish were on the table, no need to ask for more everytime we need more. We were there at 5pm weekdays, half of them were full. I see this restaurant gets popular quickly.

So excited this place opened closer to home since I used to go to Scarborough for this. The place is beautifully decorated and the food is also plates nice for a date night. I'm always pleasantly surprised with the good value of the prices vs high quality of the food and good portion sizes. It's a great place to introduce my more "flavor conservative" friends to Asian cooking. I ordered the bun cha ha noi, the chicken wings, the rice and pork dish (go for the option that has spring rolls they use the good rice paper so it comes out super crispy). I also recommend their chicken wings and mango salad. Their Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is a must (my wife doesn't like coffee but she likes their coffee). This is definitely a go to for me and in the summer there are nice gardens and shops to visit close by. The place was full when I went, so we got the spot right by the door. It was a bit drafty but the staff found us a better spot rather quickly and it looks like they were already doing something about the door and wind. Highly recommend

Pho Anh Vu, located at 900 Don Mills Rd. Unit #9 in North York, is a great spot for fresh and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. Here’s a breakdown of our experience: Appetizers: 1. Spring Rolls (Chả Giò) Crispy and flaky, these rolls were perfectly seasoned and paired with a balanced fish sauce. Each bite was fresh and flavorful. 2. Fish Sauce Fried Chicken Wings with Sticky Rice (Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm Với Xôi) The wings were excellent, with a duck-like crispy texture and no fatty tissue. The sticky rice, lightly infused with coconut, complemented the sweet and tangy flavors of the veggies. 3. Mango Salad with Grilled Shrimp (Gỏi Xoài Tôm Nướng) The grilled shrimp were tender and flavorful, while the green mango added a spicy, sweet balance. Even for someone who doesn’t usually enjoy mango salad, this dish impressed. Mains: 1. Rare Beef Rice Noodle Soup (Phở Tái) The pho broth was rich and flavorful without being greasy. The tender beef and wider noodles came together for a comforting, hearty dish. 2. Grilled Pork, Spring Rolls & Shrimp on Sugarcane with Vermicelli Noodles (Bún Thịt Nướng, Chả Giò, Chạo Tôm) This bowl delivered a perfect combination of grilled pork, crispy spring rolls, and sweet shrimp on sugarcane over vermicelli noodles. The textures and flavors blended beautifully. Drinks: The iced coffee was strong and bold but perfectly balanced—a must-try for coffee lovers. Atmosphere: The space is modern, Instagram-worthy, and offers plenty of seating and parking. However, the front door draft made the restaurant chilly, with many diners wearing jackets indoors. Service: The food quality was fantastic, but the service fell short. The mains were served before the appetizers, with one main arriving several minutes before the other. It took 10 minutes for the appetizers to arrive after the mains, disrupting the flow of the meal. Servers didn’t check in after taking our order, which felt out of place in an upscale setting. Additionally, the drink menu was limited, and water wasn’t automatically provided—only tea. Overall: Despite minor service issues, Pho Anh Vu Don Mills offers fresh, high-quality Vietnamese dishes in a beautiful setting. The flavors, presentation, and ambiance make it worth a visit. Pros: • Fresh, flavorful dishes • Beautiful, Instagram-friendly interiors • High-quality ingredients Cons: • Cold draft from the door • Mains served before appetizers • Limited drink options and no water service • Inconsistent server check-ins Final Verdict: If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food with a modern twist, Pho Anh Vu is an excellent choice. From the crispy wings to the bold iced coffee, it’s a dining experience you won’t forget!

Had to try out the new Pho Anh Vu, didn’t disappoint, with the exception of the service, but I can’t judge for that. They never brought out our spring rolls after asking twice. Rolls finally arrived when we were done and already paid. Food was hot, rare beef pho was perfectly seasoned, fresh and maybe even slightly better tasting than our regular location. Nice to have a new local around the corner. Would highly recommend!
