Philthy Phillys

Judging by this shop, standards have slipped a lot from 5 years ago. Ordered the Philthy sized Big Eh. Wanted tomatoes among other trimmings and while waiting, I happened to see him take ONE slice, cut it in half, and place it on opposite ends. One slice? Divided. Cheese Whizz used to be a free option. One line is $3 extra? Added my own. Sorry ……

Delighted to see ‘impossible poutine’ on the menu. I can be a veggie and get the flavour of philthy philly’s! The order taker seemed confused. Looked at the menu. Said, oh the gravy will take a while to make because it’s vegetarian. I said ‘I can wait.’ He looked back and forth to cook. So I said ‘I can have the usual gravy, it’s fine.’ An unsure nod.. They talked back and forth a bit and then said ‘we don’t have the veggie burgers.’ So I gave up. Had a regular poutine. Please do better. If you offer veggie stuff, actually provide it. You’re lucky I was hungry and like the regular poutine or I would have left. Been to much better Philly’s franchises. That said, despite an anti-veggie vibe, the poutine was excellent. Crunchy crisp fries, thick gravy - plenty of curds in the right proportion.

Looks like the international students they hired failed customer service 101. Just a terrible experience. The food was okay-ish if I'm being generous.

Typical fast food take out place. The man taking our order was extremely polite and helpful. The food was what I would expect from a fast food take out place. The negative reviews are not accurate. I don't know where you people eat that the food looks like the pictures, especially for these prices.

Was just ok.. had a cheese steak 8" asked for less or little sauce. Tasted just ok.. no real beef flavor and the sauce was overpowering what little taste it had. Service was good, the people behind the counter were friendly.

We just visited Philthy Phillys at 31 Rexdale location which opened on Friday, September 27 and we loved the food. Their poutine and hamburgers were very tasty and the poutine was delicious. Cody was great, super friendly and knows his stuff. He gave us free piece of cake as it was my husband's birthday!!. Wish Philthy phillys best of wishes.. Cody is the best!!!

Absolutely disgusting service and food. My sandwich was sitting for 8 minutes and the cooks thought everything was a joke. This is a hole in the wall that should be filled back in with concrete. Sandwich was horrible and wait time was extensive. The cooks were laughing at everything and did not look very serious. Go to the Stockyards location and learn to do better. WHAT A DISGRACE!!

We visited this store for the first time & purchased take-out for dinner. We paid for our purchase, picked up our brown bag & left. When we opened the package at home, we discovered that one of the very important items that we had ordered was missing.. The sandwiches were so-so but the other items were awful. The onion rings were soggy & the cauliflower pops were poorly seasoned, & so, not tasty at all. Also, they did not provide an itemized bill, only the credit card receipt. When we tried to call the phone number on the receipt, it was a wrong or fake number as the person who answered said he did not know of the store. Never going back to this location; also never will buy from this business.
