Small storefront with delightful workers and a unique menu full of excellent sandwiches! I've been back twice since discovering this gem and it's well worth the trip if you're not from the area. Highly recommend the tuna jalapeño popper sandwich!

I'm visiting from Montreal, when a colleague recommended this spot. I ordered the truffle ham and cheese sandwich and was BLOWN AWAY. This sandwich easily jumped the charts to my number one spot this year. The chicken bone broth was also super tasty and perfect on this cold, rainy day. Cozy vibes inside, and the service was excellent. HIGHLY recommend. Will definitely be back while I'm still in town.

The picture shown is the French Onion grilled cheese I had the other day and it was to die for! It actually tastes better than it looks. The price is a little high but I would still repeat.

The food is so aggressively mid but the staff is lovely. I had a falafel sandwich here twice now and both times it has absolutely no flavour. The sauce is just spicy but there are no other notes. There are no real veggies except too much lettuce. Super disappointing. My friend had a meat sandwich and said theirs was also terrible. No flavour in anything. It’s especially disappointing because of how insanely expensive the food is. I’m very much fine spending money on good food but these sandwiches don’t beat subway and the price for two people was almost $50. Definitely not worth it.

Hoooo boy! Sincerely the worst food experience we've had in many years. We ordered from UberEats for a special treat after a stressful few days. It was...not good. 1) My daughter's grilled cheese was burnt and like biting into a brick. The cheese wasn't goopy at all but hard as a nacho chip. She could barely take more than one bite, it was so hard. I can't believe anyone would think this was an okay sandwich to deliver to a customer. (Not to mention the $17 price tag for this tiny, burnt sammy...like holy smokes!) 2) The roast beef in my roast beef sandwich was so bland and unseasoned as to be inedible. 3) My husband enjoyed his sandwich (Chicago Dog)...until he pulled out a long, curly hair. We both have short hair. Do people who work there not wear hair nets or at least tie their hair back in the kitchen? So gross. Sandwiches are the easiest thing to make on the planet and should not be objectionable in any way, but here we are. We spent $100 on a terribly disappointing experience. I would not recommend Phancy's Bodega to anyone. P.S. The cookies were fine, I guess.

Wow incredible Sammie! I ordered the Chicago Dog Hoagie and it was delicious. A little sweet and a little spicy and loved the crunchy bread.

i got a tuna popper, chicken club, and carrot cake roulade for about $39 (excluding tips) the subs were delicious, high quality, and fairly big sizes. unfortunately, it is pricey but worth getting every once in awhile. the employees were very kind and helped me navigate their menu very easily. they were also able to take certain preferences like adjusting how much meat i would like inside the sandwiches. the store itself is decorated very nicely and the aesthetic is really cute. they do have a seating area but it is quite small as it is up against the window. they also have extras like chips, tea, cups and serving boards :) i would come back on a later date to treat myself and tip your servers‼️

The staff and team are Phancy's are nothing less than stupendous. With a cute and quaint shop, they are dishing out some seriously good sandwiches, with some seriously good specials at all times. They are a force to be reckoned with and if you're a sandwich lover, I would highly encourage you to visit them for a grilled cheese, a hot sandwich, or a cold sandwich alike. Keep killing it.
