I appreciate the "sit wherever you like" invitation, and I think they try to make everyone feel special. I've always had great, friendly service, from the welcoming pot of herb tea to a (example) my fruit smoothie for dessert; I take it for granted, but also realize that I'll stay healthy eating this healthy food.

I just went in to order my boss and daughter food. They sent me with a note and I didn't know much about it. The gentleman at the counter was so helpful and sweet. He explained what the options were and was patient while I figured out (via text 🙄) what they actually ordered. The food was one hot and one cold. He bagged them separately and made sure to label them for me. I've never had Vietnamese food in a restaurant before (just at friends' houses), but i will definitely be returning to give this little gem a try! The inside is clean and has the coolest decor!

I had the spring rolls and shredded pork skin with vermicelli, and shrimp and pork wontons. Really enjoyed it! The tea was great too. Not sure what kind it was. It was my first time eating these dishes and everything was good!

The pho and durian smoothie is very authentic. The staff are very friendly and the prices are a little expensive but still reasonable. I especially like how they have a tip jar and do not care how much you tip. I hate tipflation and tipped more here for this reason.

My absolute go to pho place in Durham. This is a gem of a restaurant especially if you're craving for some delicious pho. The pho broth is delicious and their noodles are quite good. I usually get the pho with beef balls and they've never disappointed. This place definitely rivals the best pho spots in Scarborough. When you're here, also make sure you get the spring rolls. Although they're not the best I've had, they still hit the spot. The staff are also wonderful, make sure you say hi to the owner and compliment her recipe if you like it!

The food here is delicious we had 2 of there seafood dishes, soup and Vietnamese coffee. The broth is really flavourful and probably my favourite part of all of these dishes. Everything was good and each of us liked our meals the best. So I think it really depends on what youre in the mood for. My noodle dish was fantastic! The noodles start off really crunchy and absorb broth as you eat it. So they have a really unique flavour and texture. The Vietnamese coffee is a must try! It’s strong and sweet such a nice treat!

I've passed Pho Viet Nam 999 hundreds of times .Finally decided to go with my cousin about 2 weeks ago. There were a few diners there on a Tuesday night or was it a Monday? As we entered the restaurant the evening sun was shining through the windows. Casting a beautiful glow across the room. We chose a booth at the back. The server promptly brought the menu. So much to choose from. I decided to go with grilled pork chops with lemongrass special which came with soup spring roll steamed rice and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious! My cousin had noodles with crispy fried tofu and vegetables that was also delicious! Portion sizes were just right. The service was great. Atmosphere very relaxing. Clean very clean the first thing I look for anywhere I go. Will definitely be back. Hope the few pics I took will give you a much better description of my experience
