Did a pick up lunch order, fish and chips dinner comes with 2 large pieces of halibut, home made coleslaw and tons of fries. The Ruben is the one you have to try freshly sliced toasted bread with sauerkraut cheese, and it was heavenly. Called in the order they were done in 10 minutes. Girl to go was very pleasant and nice when you walk inside they have a separate pick up area. The place inside looks like it’s in a time warp but it’s really nicely done and it makes you feel like you’re at grandma’s.

The location was very welcoming, with what seemed like a bunch of regular customers. They servers were kind and made us feel very welcomed. The food portion was LARGE, which lasted me two meals but it did come at a cost of $46.50. Ultimately, I will return to try a different dish as the food was decent but I want to see what else they have

Where can I start, the fact that the owner greets you at the door is just amazing. The prices are cheaper than fast food restaurants, the portions are massive and bang for the buck. The meat is soo fresh and juicy it's unbelievable, you can tell it's made with passion and a fresh generous cut. Their soup is like eating soup at your grandma's. A must try place. Definitely on my top 3 places in Canada .

My first time visiting. A pleasant surprise. Menu prices might appear a bit high but portion sizes make up for it. Food was plentiful and very tasty. I recommend.

If you want a unique experience that goes above and beyond in terms of what a restaurant normally delivers go here! It has a retro charm that cannot be imitated or replicated, the food was amazing and the servers actually care about you. I definitely will be returning.

Met my parents here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and it did not disappoint! My smoked meat sandwich was amazing, the fries and coleslaw were delicious. They do not skimp on portion size! We were very well taken care of, and they let us stay a while to catch up but never stopped filling our water glasses. It's nice inside with comfortable seating and interesting decor. I'd recommend stopping by if you are in the area! I can't wait to come back and give the souvlaki a try.

This place never disappoints. Decided just to get take out this time. Both the pastrami and smoked meat were top notch. I can never decide what sandwich to get so I get both and share the other half. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a great smoked meat or pastrami sandwich. And don’t forget the pickle. So good! We will be back!

Peter's is a Mississauga staple that we decided to go to to celebrate a birthday. We ordered a variety of dishes and the food was lovely. To start we tried the fried calamari, which came out very quickly. Highly recommend this to start as the calamari was tender and crisp. The sauce it comes with goes well with it. We then got a Greek salad 'for two'. This bowl of salad is massive! It came topped with lots of feta and olives which we enjoyed quite a bit. The dressing here is not your typical vinaigrette style but more on the creamy/mayo dressing. It's tasty and again arrives very quickly. We ordered a few different dishes and they all had one thing in common - portions are pretty generous! The steak and eggs were basic. I found the steak was not the best quality but it's worth the price of the dish. The fish dishes were excellent too. The dishes have that home cooked feel which is really nice. Not too greasy or salty. The smoked meat sandwich was huge and the meat was succulent. The only minor issue was that there was no mustard or horseradish in the sandwich which made it a little bit on the dry side. Still good however. We finished with the rice pudding and a couple slices of cake. The rice pudding is lovely! It's a nice end to the meal as it's warm but not too decadent or sweet. Goes really well with coffee. The cakes were quite fresh and simple. They were sponge cakes with buttercream filling. Nothing special but not bad by any means either. Overall, the quality of food is good and the value is there. I would probably not get the steak and eggs again but would definitely return for the souvlaki dishes. Lastly, the staff are lovely here. They were patient and friendly and make you feel at home. Definitely recommend this place for a homely and satisfying meal.
