Peruviano

Fish tacos are a delicious starter dish, from the Peruviano restaurant on Locke Street. Paired with a butternut squash soup, it makes for a satisfying meal. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming. Staff are interested in serving to you well. ( I should add, the five stars are well earned).

Incredible food made with a lot of care and a homey touch, one of the best meals I've had in while! If you haven't tried Peruvian cuisine then this is the spot to do so! Amazing flavours, quality ingredients, and everything was cooked to perfection. The standouts and must try dishes Imo were the anticuchos, conchas la parmesana, picante demariscos, lomo saltado, and the tres leches. Service is friendly and accommodating. They also offer a variety of cocktails which were decent but definitely not the stand out for me. A little on the pricier side given the portions but flavour and quality make it more than worth it. Highly, highly recommend!

I ate the ceviche and the lime juice was excellent with the white fish...my first time ever eating ceviche and I ate a empanadas first time trying it with olives and raisins inside of it it was to die for!!! Delivery was fast and good thing was the empanadas was hot in temperature....thank you Carla you the best!!!!! First time trying plantains and pork its to die for!!!!!!!

I've stopped by a few times, and Peruviano is consistently delicious, and safe for gluten-intolerant people. On Tuesdays, they have $15 tacos for three (pork belly, cauliflower/veggie, and chicken) -- and it was well worth it if you're feeling peckish. They also have half priced appetizers with the purchase of a full entree (which are huge portion and delicious!). Would recommend to anyone who wants to support a local small business, high quality food, and Peruvian restaurant.

Lunch and we had lots of appetizers. Overall, we liked it and I think great food quality to price ratio. Some room for improvement, the Brussels, too lemony tasting, but overall I enjoyed the food very much. Would I go back absolutely yes.
