Corn soup is a must try. Flavourful and perfect spice every time. My new corn soup man or woman! Doubles is a must try. Bara is light, good flavour Take 5 doubles great for home! Fry Bakes is a must try. So soft and light. Customer service on point! Very friendly and personable

I recently visited Pepper on the Side and tried a few of their offerings. The doubles were absolutely authentic, hot, and fresh—just the way I like them. They had the perfect balance of spices and were bursting with flavor. However, the aloo pie didn't quite hit the mark. While it was tasty, it lacked that fresh-out-of-the-oven appeal that makes a difference in overall enjoyment. If you're craving some authentic doubles, Pepper on the Side is a great spot to check out. Just be mindful that not everything might be as fresh as you'd hope.

The place looks clean inside. I had great service from the friendly cashier. I tried the doubles and they were so good. If you don’t like spicy, this place will make you like it. Flavorful 😍

Second time ordering from POS. I got the soup again, but made sure it was a large this time... because let me tell ya. Oh and yes it's Veggie (not sure if vegan) but it is the best veggie soup I've had in 20 years. The right amount of pepper, the right amount of starch, and seasoning. Y'all go get you some of this soup. It was tasting so good last time I thought it was chicken soup. Be sure to order the pepper 🌶 on the side of you're on the fence (the pepper is delicious but Spicy Spicy) Chef's Kiss. Thank you. Please give my regards to the Chef

It’s been a while since I have had Trini food and was really craving for roti. This place was marked for a long time and finally made it. The best part, the menu is clearly marked what is vegan, ordering is so easy. The girl on the counter still answered all the questions. Stuffed Roti with Daal and Channa and ordered extra hot. The large roti is LARGE and good size. The Channa very flavourful and hot sauce super good. Would definitely come again and try other dishes.

Down right amazing place for some Carribean food! Their portions are well worth the price and are flexible in sizing. The flavours are very wholesome and if you want spicy, they will give you it. A great place to eat and a lot of menu items to choose from. Their roti is truly excellent and worth coming here for.
