This place has become our go to spot for fried chicken. We order almost every weekend, and it never disappoints us. We've tried a variety of items from the menu, and every single one has been fantastic. The flavors are on point, the chicken is perfectly crispy, and the portions are generous. If you're looking for recommendations, definitely try the tteokbokki as a side. It’s delicious and complements the chicken perfectly. Dip the Peli Crunch chicken in their tteokbokki sauce. It’s a game changer! Highly recommend this spot for fried chicken lovers.

Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the vibes, the SERVICE!! Especially , I love it here. The chicken is big, the portions are huge for the price point and the quality stays even with take-out, which I find most restaurants struggle to do but this one is just 10/10 everytime and I crave it every weekend. You won’t regret trying this place.

I love Korean food. So much that I have tried several different places and have driven from Mississauga to north york to get Korean fried chicken. This was my first time trying this place that is super close to home. Here’s my honest review Chicken (snow cheese purrio & dak gang jung) juicy, crunchy and super tasty. The breading was also very light. Rose tteokbokki: soft rice cakes and tasty! Not too spicy for those who don’t like spicy foods. Snow cheese fries: fries are light, not oily and the cheese powder was tasty. Corn cheese: sweet and salty. Perfect blend. Overall I love everything and had an amazing experience. Service was friendly and helpful too! I super surprised they’re not crazy busy

I have been trying all to the Korean Fried Chicken spots in Mississauga this summer, finally made my way over to Pelicana, and it was a lovely experience. I like the interior of the store, it's lively and inviting. The neon cat by service counter is cool, and the music selection that night compliments the vibe of the store. Onto the food. The chicken is excellent. Got the mix and match special with garlic and the signature sauce on boneless chicken. And a side order of cheese corn. The cheese corn is good, is what you would expect from a kfc restaurant. The chicken is crispy, saucy, and succulent. If you love garlic like I do, get that sauce. So far, this is the best Korean fried chicken in Mississauga. 10/10. Would recommend.

This place is truly a gem. The chicken was amazing, I think my favorite was the Pelicana signature. The chicken was juicy and flavorful with a nice crisp breading. Tried the cheeseballs and takoyaki.. awesome! Our server Danielle was very attentive and was able to offer excellent suggestions. This was my first time coming, and is certainly not my last. I think this has become my go-to for Korean fried chicken.

First time here and the waitress was friendly, and courteous, as you would expect of any Korean establishment. The chicken was soo juicy (even the breast meat). Pieces of bone in chicken were nice and big too! Both flavours were wonderful. The spicy signature wasn't too spicy at all, so it was enjoyable. The garlic is what it sounds like but with a bit of a kick, which was a nice surprise. It lost a bit of the crispness since we took it home but it was still really good. I would definitely come back for this over another chain that's further away on Dundas.

I heard about Pelicana through my cousins in the USA along with youtube so I was very interested when I saw one was opening in Mississauga. My wife and I finally got to try it and I must say there is a new korean fried chicken king in town! An absolute must try! It's personally my favorite fried chicken place now and I've tried many in Mississauga like B.B.Q Chicken, Chicken Plus, The Fry, K-Pocha, Sikgaek etc. which are all great too. We got the Pelicana signature and Garlic both boneless and medium size. The breading is perfect! Not too heavy, it's crispy and light. The boneless chicken was extremely juicy. I think they leave the skin on which is similar to Japanese kaarage and that's why it's so juicy! The Pelicana signature is tasty! Similar to the yangnyeom flavor you'd find at most korean joints. The garlic was very tasty. It tasted as if you took a bite of a stir fried garlic piece! Delicious and high in garlic flavor! The side dishes were fantastic as well and come with the chicken. The mu (raddish) was sweet and crunchy and the corn mayo was super as well! Both were delicious side dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and they answered our questions with ease pertaining to the menu. They checked up on us often to see if everything was good. Overall a very friendly place! The decor and atmosphere was fantastic! My wife and I will definetly be back again...and again and again!! A perfect score from me! Thank you Pelicana for opening up in Mississauga!
