Great food and service. Nice atmosphere too. Went here yesterday for dinner. The fries were amazing never tasted anything like this before. And the chicken was amazing too. Will definitely be back again soon.

I recently visited Pelicana Chicken and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it has been around for quite a while. With so many Korean fried chicken spots popping up, I might have missed this gem if a friend hadn’t recommended it. Let me just say, Pelicana serves some of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had. The Green Onion Chicken Padak was a standout for me—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Spicy Chicken also hit the mark, packing a good amount of heat without overwhelming the flavor. However, the Snow Cheese Chicken was a bit underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, just didn’t wow me like the other dishes. On the side, I tried the Rose Tteokbokki, which was flavorful but leaned heavily on the spicy side—definitely for those who can handle the heat! The Snow Cheese Fries, on the other hand, were absolutely delicious and paired well with the chicken. One thing that truly sets Pelicana apart is how well they fry their chicken—it’s consistently crispy, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Add to that the warm and attentive customer service, and you’ve got a spot worth revisiting. If you’re a fried chicken lover like me, Pelicana Chicken is a must-try. It’s a fantastic spot to satisfy your Korean fried chicken cravings.

I’ve tried many Korean fried chicken place but Pelicana is the best I’ve ever had in Toronto. I’d personally recommend Pelicana Fried, rose tteokbokki and cheese ball(this is so good). If you like Korean fried chicken then this one should be your new place!!

A place sells authentic Korean-style chicken. We’ve enjoyed the delicious chicken and beer which is CHIMAC! I have to come again.

The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. I got the regular fried chicken and the sauced one, and they were above average in quality (would not say it is the best you could get in GTA.) However, I think the place needs to improve the atmosphere. The place is widely open so first of all it does not feel private. It does not feel like a pub but more like a Korean BBQ restaurant. They play music (and sometimes sad music) so quietly which creates kind of awkward atmosphere. Maybe it's good for families with kids. I think the place has a potential but need to further improve.

I recently visited this chicken place with my parents, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the place was also impressive, making the dining environment comfortable and enjoyable. We started with the corn cheese, cheese balls, fries, which came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint (forgot to take photo of those since it was sooooo good)! They were delicious and a perfect appetizer to kick off our meal. For the main course, we ordered half fried and half spicy fried chicken. Both options were cooked to perfection, using fresh oil that made the chicken incredibly crispy and flavourful. The spicy version had just the right amount of heat, while the regular fried chicken was perfectly seasoned. To top it off, we paired our meal with some beer served in a frozen cup. It was refreshingly cold and complemented the chicken perfectly. Overall, this is one of the best places I've tried for Korean fried chicken. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the rose tteokbokki was just the right amount of spicy and creamy, with noodles and sausage making it perfect. The place was cozy and nice and the staff were attentive and polite. Will visit again for sure.
