I had a wonderful time at Pehalwan Dhaba in Mono. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. My favorites were the butter chicken and tandoori naan. The staff were very kind and made us feel welcome. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere too. If you're looking for tasty food and good service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely come back!

They are very kind and respectful. There was a cute chubby girl, who served us very good. The atmosphere was very peaceful and full of love. Must visit and have this beautiful experience. Raman 🎀

Baaaaaadddddddddddddddd !!!! Do not recommend going here if you enjoy Indian Food. Had highs hopes for this place considering its now a DHABA (Pehlwan Dhaba) on the side of the road but it really came up short. She had the Gobi Roti..... must've been only 1tbsp of shredded Cauliflower in it. It is was pretty much all flour and bland in taste. Very sad. Worse was the Veg Thali... Daal Makhni looked and tasted bland and boring, very very thick and nothing like what a Daal should be. The Paneer was disappointing with 3cubes of rubbery paneer in pretty much nothing but oily sauteed onions. The worst of the worst was the Chole (ChickPeas).... completely undercooked. They woulda done better by just using a can of ChickPeas which are often cooked thru and added masala tadka to it. Was thinking of doing the NonVeg thaali but glad I didn't because they hadn't even fired up the Tandoor oven yet but considering how bad the Veg Thaali was, the Non-Veg wouldve been even worse. 3 things that were good...... The MixedPakora, the Masala Chai and the two girls providing wait service were very friendly. However, the Chef/Cook has no idea what he/she is doing. I know they have a English Breakfast menu, maybe its better but as far a Dhaba experience.... its the WORST !!!!!! Felt ill for the rest of the day after eating here... will not be coming back here especially after paying what we did for what we had.

Ordered dhaba style food for our first visit - daal makhani with jeera rice , butter chicken and tandoori roti, the food tastes really good. The ambience can be improved but we are definitely going back when we miss indian dhaba food :)
