Come over to PAMA -and enjoy the beautiful & meaningful exhibits and events within their historic facilities located in the heart of downtown Brampton. Their entire staff is knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated. Oh- and their volunteers are also amazing. I enjoyed their Open Houses, there's too much to learn! Family friendly!

Beautiful place, with lots to do. We came during the dog exhibit and we loved it! The place is especially clean and the bathrooms are accessible and very tidy. All the employees we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Wonderful experience!

Attended a workshop for Ceramic Art with a theme on Home and Belonging; it was filled with supplies and a great host! (: Interesting historic courthouse and county jail; there was also a lovely exhibit on dogs, man's best friend! Came on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all

I recently visited this place and it was an enriching experience. The museum is filled with history and an impressive collection of old artifacts that transport you to different eras. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided an excellent guided tour, which made the visit even more engaging. It's truly a wonderful place to spend leisure time while learning about exciting historical events and items. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in history and culture.

I'm not into history, but the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives was in close proximity to my accommodations. The initial "art" was not my thing but I'm sure some will find it interesting. I was lucky enough to have a guided tour of the courthouse (even snapped myself on the Judge's bench 😁). Once I stepped inside of a prisoner's "cell" I instantly knew why I was always a law-abiding citizen 😂 The video of me actually in the cell; the claustrophobia was all too real. I was abruptly reminded of how far we've progressed as a people when I saw a 3.5" floppy 💾 and a yo-yo among the museum's displays. All in all, I don't regret the visit, and the admittance fee was reasonable 🙂

Went there on a weekday and not too busy I was pleasantly surprised at how many things there are to see. If you compare it to a bigger museum it’s smaller in comparison but I think it’s pretty solid I’d say it takes you around 1 hour to go through everything. It is $6 right now, which is nice We went in and were greeted by the staff who were kind to explain where everything is and where their favorite exhibits are. My favorite exhibit is the courtroom as you can go in and explore, as well as take pictures in it. There is also a jail, a space that explores black history, exhibits of space and more. Would recommend going for a fun activity downtown.

Good place to go and learn about art and the court and jail in old Brampton. There are few parking for visitors inside the art complex. The art gallery entrance is not at all expensive and it is free of you have canoo app. This place is divided to some 3-4 building. There are some portion where some work was ongoing. We went on Sunday afternoon and it was relatively free. First building where we went had 2 art shows going on. It is good for intellectuals who enjoy art. So, I was more impressed not by this part but other areas. They have preserved an old court room. You need to take the guided tour of the old court. The guide explained really well and view takes you right into the past. The architecture is also worth noting. It seems they rent this place for movie shooting and other events too. In that same building there is a ball room type room where there is a high ceiling too. The other building houses an old jail. They have an audio presentation of the person who spent time in solitary confinement too. On the entrance to the jail there is also a display of the atrocities that the indigenous kids of Canada had to undergo in the so called residential school. It was a reminder of the horrible past of Canada and the sufferings of those innocent kids. It really made me think about the privilege that we are enjoying compared to these kids. They also have some painting they do on the outside wall and the locality in which this place is situated has a beautiful park too.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Peel Art Gallery. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore various exhibits, including a jail and other intriguing displays. The gallery's serene atmosphere contributed to the overall pleasant experience. While the gallery may not offer an extensive range of exploration, I found every aspect to be of high quality. It was particularly exciting to visit during Sikh Heritage Month, as the gallery showcased exceptional paintings that added a profound cultural dimension.
