Terrible. The fries were pale and tasted like raw potatoes. The burgers were undercooked, and the lettuce in them tasted dirty. While preparing the food he didn’t wear any gloves or wash his hands once. The customer service was absolutely appalling. I took my daughter and her two friends to the zoo and decided to try Paul’s afterward. When we entered, the cashier refused to let me use my card, even though he had a working card machine. We were only five cents short in coins, which we ended up paying, but he was extremely rude. He claimed we were "too big of a crowd" (there were only four of us) and kicked us out into the freezing cold of Canada, telling us to eat on the ground for all he cared. He even said that "people like us" were the reason his business didn’t get many customers. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I will never return.

paul is my GOAT. small hidden brunch gem — they’re not here for profit, they’re here to feed the people! you can dine-in and be served but you have to order at the counter (which i do not mind because they are busy FEEDING THE PEOPLE!) very good prices and high quality food. french toast and sausages very yummy. we WILL be back for the poutine and burger😼

Also known as Maple Gardens, I’ve been coming here for years! Older siblings used to take me, used to come here during lunch in elementary school, now I come whenever I need some comfort food. Food changes, locations do, Paul never does!

Stopped here on the way home from the zoo! A good little 'greasy spoon' spot, the owner was by himself and still managed to feed the crew in good time. 👍 friendly atmosphere and good value. I'd recommend the Grilled Chicken sandwich and the Greek salad!

Big fan of their fries and gravy. Call ahead to have your order ready by the time you pull up. Paul works pretty quick to get your order to you, and I have never had an issue with the food. Great lil' jem in the neighbourhood. Just know that the prices for the daily specials have gone up a bit, but are still reasonable!

Delicious, massive portions, fresh ingredients, prepared with love and passion - they love cooking and feeding their customers GOOD food. Steak and chicken were tender, juicy and flavourful. Fresh cut seasoned potatoes - these are mouthwatering!!!! Everything can be made to your liking. The banana bread is made on site and hands down - one the best we've had. We bought them out 🤣 Highly recommend this spot ♥️
