Went to the one in Commerce Court downtown. Usually get the extra spicy one (which is really not that spicy at all in the Caribbean sense of the word). Dough is flaky and not too thick and the beef filling is plentiful. I sometimes get it with coco bread.

Not that spicy as a Jamaican I don't approve of the spice level in the patties and my fellow Jamaicans would approve. Better you call all your patties mild 🤣 cause to most Caribbean people that know real spicy Jamaican patties. Not even your extra spicy is spicy to me and most Jamaicans would agree as it tastes mild. Add Scotch bonnet vs what ever other spice your using or a strong pepper that's what these patties are missing. Your curry chicken needs more work it needs more spice. For me I rather cuts or strips of chicken. If you go to Devon house in Jamaica that's how their patty is and the taste is really spicy unlike your chicken patties and well seasoned. For now I rate 3/5.

So yummy! Huge fan of the vegan option available. the vegan patty was sooo tasty especially with the coco bread. it was so soft fluffy and fresh. A great portion for the price. will definitely be re ordering

I had a chicken patty and coco bread. The coco bread was underwhelming, should have just been called bread. The patty itself had very basic chicken, with the taste of chicken stock. I don't think that's what the flavour profile should be, it's not a chicken soup patty.

Not Smashing IT! Um. Nice try, but... I had high hopes for this Beef Patty and Coco Bread establishment, but those hopes have fallen down the gutter. Considering I grew up in the beef patty and Coco Bread World, I'm sort of an expert on the matter. The patty/pastry itself was not flakey at all! It had the consistency of cardboard instead. How can you produce a beef patty that isn't flakey? The meat was more of a watered-down mushy runny stew with no taste. Kind of like baby food. The Coco bread was very thin and doughy. I could still smell the flour. That's definitely NOT coco bread it was more like a hamburger bun. And a bad one at that. Also, why is the filling so hot? Are you trying to give people 3rd degree burns? There is no reason why the filling has to be so hot. Eaton Centre Location: There's also a very strange angry vibe about this place. Not the kind of energy that's very inviting. Oh well. D- for the beef patty F for the Coco bun.

Good... not great. Spicy beef patty's filling was a too runny, like oozing out. Taste was okay as was the pastry. Spicy chicken was interesting... better flavour and viscosity than the beef. Veggie filling reminded me of a Swanson's chicken pie's filling flavour-wise. The veggies were quite respectable both in quantity and texture (not under or over cooked). Pastry had a different look and feel, presumably made out of different ingredients and/or cooked differently. It was nice to try, but I wouldn't add it as a regular food option when grabbing lunch. No grade for atmosphere because it's a food court.

Dough and filling ratio was just perfect for a snack size. Filling was flavorful and dough was flaky. Would not say it is the best patty in Toronto but for downtown with $2.50 per patty, not too bad.
