Patties Express

I had high hopes for this place. The customer service was amazing and they're all super friendly. The place is clean. The patties however are not great. I like that it's not too flakey, but the flavour is bland. We tried spicy beef and chicken..neither of which was spicy. Very underwhelming. I hope they change the recipe.

The Jamaican patties I ate and was really good. We had the spicy beef. vegetable and chicken. They are made to order, great fullings and excellent. Will recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this patty store. The extra spicy beef patties are a game-changer, perfectly seasoned and always fresh. I work in the building and find myself grabbing one nearly every day. It never disappoints and always hits the spot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and satisfying snack!

Best place for Patties is definitely this location, especially due to the exceptional employee Jackie. Whenever my mom and I come to this location, Jackie goes out of his way to make it a great experience for us and his genuinely friendly demeanour have consistently made our visits outstanding. Jackie’s leadership and commitment shine brightly during every visit, and his expertise in providing top-notch customer service is invaluable. Stopped by here to sample the patties. I ended up purchasing 4 patties, 4 Cocoa bread and 4 cola champagne. That all came up to approx $25 Presentation was on point, the bag was pretty, the patty looked nice as well, the cocoa bread was fresh and soft Atmosphere: The store looked nice and clean, located on the lower level at Scarborough Town centre across from Dollarama Taste: the patty was lacking flavour. I didn't taste any spices. It seemed to have more filler than meat

Ordered the spicy patty and coco bread and extra hot - none were very spicy at all! The best thing was the coco bread and oddly, I didn’t taste any beef in my patty… it was all just kinda of just filling. Nice store front and service.

Patties Express. I remembered lining up for their Jamaican patties when they were located on Elm Street near the Eaton Centre. I can’t believe they got 9 locations across the GTA including Scarborough Towne Centre. I was so happy to see them because it’s no longer a downtown thang for me. I grabbed 6 patties to go. I bought 1 spicy beef and 5 mild beef patties. When I was in my car, I slightly panicked because I couldn’t figure out which one was which. Then I saw the phone number on the box and called right away. The gentleman on the phone was nice enough to let me know at the front of the box was a diagram clearly showing which one is which. I felt like an idiot, but honestly I was just excited to eat a patty again that I never took the box out of the plastic bag while sitting in my car. I probably bet there was sign inside the store. But the line up to buy went so fast, and everything in the store was dark or in black, so I missed that sign somehow. Well I now know where to look for that information. They accept credit cards. This is a takeout place only, so no dine in option. No washrooms, you have to go to the food court area for that. The patty was delicious. The filling was not hearty, but satisfying. By the time I delivered and arrived at my destination, 3 other family members consumed the patties. It’s a hit in my household. Patties Express is open both Saturday and Sunday and closed later in the evenings during the weekdays.

$2.39 a piece of patty is ok. The spicy chicken patty is not spicy and you can’t taste a chuck of meat. Just like a flavourful starchy patty crush. The same goes to their Vegan patties and almost less than half filled 3 quarter way through.
