Upon the moment we arrived the staff was attentive to ensuring we had a great experience. Due to our party size we had a fixed menu...that didn't disappoint...from the tapas to dessert....all were excellent. Great wine selection...we enjoyed a Cava to start and a couple of Rioja which paired beautifully with our meal.

Been to Patria many times now and liked their recent interior update. Our server was pretty good with paying attention to our table throughout the meal. I do like that other staff that come by to pick up the dirty dishes clean up the table too when they change out cutlery. It would be an improvement for the server to clean the table as well when they do that so service standards are more consistent. The oxtail stuffed pepper was tasty and I liked the combination of flavours and textures. The grilled octopus was also good. The meat was cooked well and I like the combination with the potatoes also being somewhat similar in texture. The paellas do take some time to make, so there was a bit of a wait for that after the apps. The flavours were great and you can taste a certain depth of seafood flavour in the rice itself. One thing I wish was done better was the socarrat - didn’t find much of a distinct crispy layer of the rice at the bottom. The server who brought the paella over had mixed the rice in for us. Otherwise, everything else was cooked well and found the mussels particularly tasty and fresh. Their basque cheesecake was a nice texture too. It would be nice if the sauce was a bit thicker in my opinion. Otherwise, maybe serving this dish with a spoon would be helpful so that guests can actually pick up the sauce and taste it.

I recently dined at Patria, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every dish and drink we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. 🥦COLIFLOR (Roasted Cauliflower): A delightful appetizer with a rich almond sauce, a touch of lemon juice, and the unique kick of nora peppers. Who knew cauliflower could taste this good? 🥘PAELLA PATRIA: This classic Spanish seafood rice was perfection! The combination of mussels, shrimp, clams, scallops, and saffron-infused rice created an unforgettable flavor. We ordered the small portion, and it was more than enough to share. 🐟LUBINA (Boneless Branzino): The sea bass was perfectly cooked—light, flaky, and enhanced with lemon juice and parsley sauce. A must-try for seafood lovers! 🐖IBERICO SECRETO (Grilled Iberian Pork): Tender and flavorful, with the smokiness of grilled Iberian pork complemented by sweet pearl onions and a delicious romesco sauce. 🍹SANGRIA (TINTO): Refreshing and fruity with just the right balance of sweetness. We tried both the glass and pitcher, and the latter was perfect for sharing! 🍹PINK SHERRY: This cocktail stole the show with its vibrant pink hue and layers of citrus and sweetness. The limoncello foam added an elegant touch. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, with attentive service that made the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Spanish cuisine in Toronto, Patria is a must-visit.

Great meal, great atmosphere, great service. I came with a group of people and we were served family style, with a mixture of different tapas, appetizers, main course and dessert. The food was delicious, authentic Spanish food. The waitress and staff were attentive and very kind. I left very full !

This is my first time visiting since it reopened. The food was still amazing, and the service was fantastic. The paella and Spanish octopus were my favourite dishes among menus. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening. The entrance has a beautifully framed sign with the restaurant’s name, which was very impressive. The restaurant’s decor is also very beautiful, especially the wine display cabinet right at the entrance. The restaurant specializes in Spanish cuisine, and the food was excellent. Our server, Candice, took great care of us. She was very polite, enthusiastic, and friendly, and she refilled our water and wine very promptly. Here are the dishes I recommend: Patria Paella (Small for $36): The rice was crispy with fresh seafood. The shrimp was very bouncy, the mussels and clams were very delicious, and there was a slight tomato acidity that harmonized well with the seafood, enhancing its freshness. The sprouts added a crunchy texture and a fresh grassy aroma, which was very refreshing. The rice absorbed all the essences, making it very tasty. Overall, I think this seafood paella is a must-order. Bone Marrow ($26): Some tender beef is placed on top of roasted bone marrow, paired with their special sauce. The taste was really delicious. Putting a bit of beef and bone marrow on the roasted sourdough bread, then sprinkling some sea salt on top, creates a burst of meat, oil, and grain flavors in your mouth. This dish goes very well with drinks, especially with a refreshing cava, making for a slightly tipsy dinner. Datiles ($16): Bacon-wrapped dates with their special sauce. The dish is sweet, salty, and slightly sour – a very characteristic Spanish tapas. This restaurant makes them mini-sized, perfect for a one-bite snack that goes well with drinks. As for other dishes, I don’t eat lamb products, so I ordered the only cow’s milk cheese on the menu, Mahon Anejo ($15), paired with hawthorn pieces. It was quite delicious. We also ordered a bottle of cava to pair with the meal, making it a very happy and satisfying evening. Thanks to our server, Candice, for providing us with so much delicious food.

EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS SALTY BEYOND COMPREHENSION. Even toasted bread was heavily salted and you need to tell the kitchen to please not put salt on bread if you want normal plain bread. 🤢. Our server was also rude and made us comfortable for complaining about food’s saltiness. Decors are beautiful, but that is about it. We do not recommend this place and will not come back.
