absolute worst customer service Ive had in the past YEARS at a restaurant. The owner was unresponsive and the pork is canned. Nothing is fresh and the lime he gave me was expired. The tacos were placed on a bed of mushy doritos. DO NOT DINE HERE

Tacos were okay. The lime margarita was good. The bar tender Clay was great and I had a good time chatting up the other patrions. However, if you want your spirit broken in witnessing agism in an abusive way, then this is the place to visit. The owner was fine and professional until he got drunk later in the night. His "regulars" which consist of his gf literally walked upto this gentlemen in his 50's and screamed in his ear and face that he was dust, has bones that she could crack. The owner instigated this and when I pointed that out, that it was mean, the owner reacted in a very unprofessional manner. He did not handle his business with class and dignity. This is not a representation of the rest of Cabbagetown. Hope this power tripping on the vulnerable when drunk is not a regular occurrence there. Pretty disappointing.

Went in last night (Wednesday) with some friends for their pianist, paired with the oysters and wine it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I also got a quesadilla which was excellent. I read the other reviews and I’m going to assume that our friends have not been to Latin America and they were expecting something similar to what you would find in the USA - not traditional tacos. These are more like traditional tacos with a simple meat, bit of toppings on a wee tortilla, just like in the south. I had it with the house hot sauce and BAM that stuff is top notch. Wonderful little bar if you are local and sounds like it’s a great spot for lunch!

Solid 4/5. The tacos were decent, but they weren't fantastic either. I would describe them as meh. Definitely expected more fresh toppings. There were only pickled onions on top of mine, and some cilantro on my husband's. I got the 4 bean tacos. My husband got 3 pork and 2 chicken tacos. I would go back if I was hungry and in the area, but probably wouldn't crave this place.

Loved the tacos and sangria, both delicious! Will have to try the burrito and quesadilla next time =) Great owner and a chill place to hang out to grab a bite and drink.

Great good and an extremely friendly owner and chef. Yes, the food is a little under seasoned but you just have to ask for salt and pepper and the owner will gladly oblige. The tacos came with pickled onions and herbs and it was delicious. He's also serving veggie chilli which is pretty great for vegetarians to have some options. The homemade habanero sauce is amazingly delicious and hot. He sells by the bottle and it's $10 which is incredibly affordable. We loved how green the whole place is. Gave it a nice ambiance even though it really is a hole-in-the-wall. The owner mentioned his plans for wine tasting. I wish him good luck.

Nice taco spot if you’re in the area! There was a lunch rush when we got there in the afternoon which resulted in a bit of a wait (good idea to preorder) & they had run out of pork by the time they had got to our order. However, the staff were super friendly and offered us chicken instead. Really enjoyed the sauces and sides here! Would love to come back to try their pork tacos one day!

This neighborhood needed tacos so bad! So glad they're here! A Mexican inspired little place with fresh ingredients and great prices! Had the chicken, bean and pork tacos. He grows the garnishes in store. The salsas were good and tortillas made in store as well. The owner is so down to earth and nice. Had tables to eat outside and a bench too. Visit and enjoy!
