My experience at Pasaj was, unfortunately, disappointing from the start. When I arrived, I was greeted by an unfriendly girl at the entrance wearing a green sweater, glasses, and piercings. She didn’t smile and gave off an unpleasant attitude, which set a negative tone for the visit. I had the impression that the girl at the entrance was upset that I showed up for my reservation😒😕 Once seated, I waited for 20 minutes without anyone approaching me. No water, no offer of drinks — nothing. Meanwhile, three women were constantly attending to other tables, ensuring those guests were taken care of, while I was completely ignored. When I finally managed to place an order, I was made to wait again — this time for tap water! To make matters worse, a couple who arrived much later than me received their drinks and food far quicker. It felt unfair and disrespectful. I couldn’t help but wonder if the poor service was because I came alone for brunch. If so, that’s absolutely unacceptable. Dining solo doesn’t mean one deserves subpar treatment. It’s disheartening to feel invisible in a place that should prioritize all guests equally. To be fair, the other women who served me later on were polite and seemed more attentive, but by then, the initial bad impression was hard to shake. On a positive note, the food itself was delicious. By the time it arrived, I was so hungry that I finished everything quickly. I sincerely hope Pasaj focuses on improving the experience for all customers, regardless of the circumstances. Great food deserves equally great service.

Come early, this place fills up quick, for good reason! The food was really yummy, I ended up getting the sujuk Benedict and was not disappointed. Also got a cappuccino and they do cute cappuccino art too :) I'll be back for sure.

There ambiance and service at this place is amazing, the food was also good just not something I would personally give a 5/5, just cause I'm not a huge fan of yogurt and the pancakes were topped with it. A plus was that the ingredients tasted fresh.

I have been living abroad since 2006. One of my pleasure and hobby is trying fusion food. Especially in North America. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find fusion Turkish restaurant especially in NA. The pasaj restaurant is well located in Toronto and great taste of Turkish food. Original recipes which i edited from my mum’s recipes:) re great presentation but, I believe the main courses look small :) ( frankly speaking I was full tho.) and the service is a little bit slow but the people are friendly. The table by the glass was so hot need a cutie curtain.:) wish you the best and please keep the quality.

Genuinely enjoyed our brunch visit here. We got the famous pancakes, salmon Benedict, Sucuk Benedict and the Shrimp Benedict. The servers were very nice and accommodating and the food was very delicious. I will say that we were a bit surprised by the pancakes being topped with labneh instead of cream cheese, but it all worked well together. Server confirmed all meats are halal except the bacon (which is cooked separately).

It is extremely loud inside. It’s tough to have a quiet and private conversation. The pancakes are good but the hot hummus is very salty. I couldn’t eat it so they were respectful about it and took it off the bill and offered something else in return but we declined.

Full marks for setting - the wainscoting, the greenery, the decor, and the large windows and high ceilings give this place an airy quality perfect for brunch. The pancakes, although beautiful, just fell short of expectations. The texture was more cake-y than fluffy and made them crumble easily. However, we appreciated that that cherry flavour was subtle and the pistachios and halva toppings gave the dish a nice nuttiness. The creaminess of the labne also complemented the nuttiness. The sucek benedict was great. Serving benedict on zucchini fritters is brilliant. The eggs were perfectly poached and served on a generous portion of sucek sausage slices. However, I found the potatoes to be on the salty side.

The food was good. Would Not recommend the celery root salad. The french toast is on the dry side but we enjoyed it. Would suggest pancakes instead. No pastries or baklava at this location for the weekend brunch
