Stopped in for lunch. Very healthy portion for the sandwich with great quality and portions of Italian salami, mortadella, etc. There’s a nice variety of beverages to go with your sandwiches.The staff were helpful in making my choice.

Been waiting patiently for them to open, peering in the windows admiring the progress, and have enjoyed their lunch counter a few times. This was our first visit for dinner. Food was fantastic, staff was friendly and attentive, and it's nice inside. Definitely will be returning.

Pizza and sandwich for lunch with enough left over for anther day. Delicious, different and absolutely homemade. Nothing in the geater Hamilton area can be paired with Piccolo.

Sharing my experience so they can fix the food before it's too late. My favorite thing about Italy is going to an autogrill (italian rest stop). I was so excited to try this place out thinking it would be the same kind of simple and delicious and quick sandwich you would get at a rest stop. I got the mortadella sandwich. The bread was not good, there was barely any mortadella on the sandwich, there was so much mayo that it over overwhelmed pistachio crema. I stop eating after a few bites because it was that underwhelming. To top it all off a sandwich and a carbonated san Pellegrino came to 29$.

Sandwiches are large but not particularly good. They're fine, but I would rather a smaller sandwich with more flavour for the same price ($20). Expect a very salty sandwich with crusty focaccia
