Pantry (Lawrence)

On the front it says Chop Shop/Pantry so I thought it was two separate businesses under one shop. I took a look at the Chop Shop half of the counter and the lady asked if I was ready to order and I told her I needed some time. I then checked out the Pantry half and decided I wanted something from there. When I was finally ready, I made eye contact with the bearded gentleman with the apron behind the counter and he told the workers on the other side very aggressively “can someone help the customer, that’s what you’re here for”. This manager/owner should not have spoken to his staff like that, it was not their fault I wasn’t ready when they asked. Check your attitude man. Will not be going back because how you treat your staff says A LOT about your business.

Just ordered lunch from here. The “truffle”mac and cheese tasted like velveeta….??? Really gross and weird for a big name place to use processed velveeta in a truffle mac.

I have ordered from Pantry Lawrence a few times and I've really liked it. However the last 2-3 times have been underwhelming. I ordered 2 x Combos 1s (1 protein, 2 sides) through Uber eats. I specifically chose the Mapo Tofu as my protein, and the Broccoli and Egg Fried Rice as my sides. However, I only received 1 x each side and the food itself was cold (out of fridge cold). The quality of the tofu has reduced significantly. The last few times I've ordered it, it's been very chewy.

I ordered delivery from here yesterday, the meal needed to be vegan but accidentally came with egg fried rice in addition to my order. The person I spoke to at the restaurant was so professional and accommodating, the food itself was delicious (ended up bringing the rice to work for my colleagues) and the portions were spot on. All in all the experience was so positive that it more than made up for the mix up. Thanks guys! I'll definitely be ordering again.

I cant upload pics because I ate everything in a second. I ordered Combo 1, chose Miami Steak, Kale Ceaser and Quinoa. Its so easy to order because there are not five billion options to choose from, nice and simple. They sent a huge portion of steak, the sides are tasty but not unhealthy. On point for the ones struggling to cook healthy.

Great tasting food . Good portions and pretty good value. High quality ingredients. Good variety. Reliable go to place when you want something fast and not fast food. Definitely a staple in our family. We love the variety. Very close to 5 stars.

Welcome addition to the neighborhood! The place was recently renovated and is very clean and bright. Tried the 1 protein and 2 side dishes - jerk chicken, Dan Dan broccoli and pantry sling salad - everything was very tasty! Excited to try the different salads and will return soon!
