Everything is fresh. I especially like beef tongue, thin and flavorful. The best is soup base is FREE. If you pay cash, you will receive 5% discount. Best value for hot pot in town.

AYCE hot pot was $78 plus tip for 2 ppl. This included a 5% cash discount and soft opening promo of free soup base. Spicy Beef Tallow soup base was have been extra $18 or a double soup base would have been an extra $20. The beef was ok, not really fatty, but fresh cut The meat balls, wasn’t hand-made or made in store. Just pre-bought frozen stuff. The sauce section was more than adequate, maybe about 20 tips of sauce, garnish, toppings you can make your hot pot sauce with. The service was really good. I guess it was soft opening. Overall, IF I have to add extra $25 on top for the soup. I probably won’t return for this price and quality of beef.

I had a great experience celebrating my friend’s birthday here! We ordered two soup bases (thanks to a new opening promotion for a free broth, original price 19.99 for 2 broth🤪) with mala and sukiyaki. The mala soup gets spicier the longer it boils🥵. There was a variety of options to choose from, and the meat portions were generous👍🏻. After the hotpot, they offered Melona ice cream for dessert(3/4 flavour, I picked the coconut one), which was a delightful treat! We brought our cake🎂, and they were kind enough to keep it for us. When it was time to cut the cake, they played the birthday song in the background🤣, making it extra special💯😂. The service was excellent! Overall, a fantastic experience, I highly recommend this place!

Unsanitary Conditions, Invasive Behavior, and Blame-Shifting. We arrived at Pangea Hot Pot at 8:26 PM, waited the typical time to order and for the hotpot to boil, then started eating—only to find an old vermicelli noodle left in the pot, something we hadn’t ordered. Concerned about hygiene, we reported it at 9:06 PM. Unfortunately, the restaurant’s response was dismissive and evasive. Rather than providing an explanation or apology, we were subjected to invasive behavior, including being photographed without permission and being asked to hand over our phones. The manager focused on shifting blame to us, later claiming—falsely—that we had been eating for an hour before mentioning the issue. Our complaint went unresolved for over an hour, during which we were largely ignored. The manager said “either I give you 20% off or you find somewhere else to report yourselves.” When we requested a record of our order, the manager initially agreed, only to direct us to the kitchen to “find it ourselves.” In the kitchen, we noticed unsanitary conditions and large boxes of another brand’s hotpot base, something far cheaper than what they charge customers on the menu. When we attempted to document this, staff again demanded we hand over our phones, forbidding us from taking pictures rather than addressing our valid concerns. Upon leaving, we later discovered the restaurant had falsely claimed online that they were “ready to call the police” and that we only left because of that. In reality, we paid in full and left due to complete dissatisfaction and disrespect. Furthermore, the manager later threatened us on another Google review, claiming he had video evidence of us—footage he took without our permission. The restaurant’s neglect for basic hygiene, transparency, and respectful customer service is alarming. For anyone concerned with food safety and honest service, I strongly advise against dining here.

Unacceptable food safety! Don’t come unless you want to get diarrhea. There is a food scraps from previous customers. The manager has no empathy for us. He doesn’t care about us. Refused to provide accommodation that suits our needs. Honest opinion here.

Came for soft opening and theres a much needed improvement going forward. The soft opening special is that the soup base is free. We did 2 soup bases- sukiyaki and pork bone. There’s 4 items that you can only order once - lamb, intestines etc and only with the server. When it comes to the rest of the food, you order it yourself in your cellphone via an app. While that sounds easy. There was so many missing food items or it came at the very end. Worse part of all this is that beef, pork belly , lamb. While it’s “fresh” to cut it on the spot, this takes SIGNIFICANTLY long for you to get a plate of beef as it’s not PRE-CUT. It’s order as you go and the chef who cuts the beef then starts slicing the meat through a meat slicing machine. While that’s unique, this takes away from the hot pot experience as a meat lover and eater at hot pot. It took 20-30mins to get a plate of beef. Other items on the menu were ok and came at a reasonable time. But, please pre-slice the meat so that when you are busy, customers are not impatiently waiting and chasing for the beef. We hotpot people just want to eat and leave. Customer service needs improvement, not all customers speak mandarin and unfortunately the server we had didn’t understand English or Cantonese. Communication was next to zero if my parents didn’t know how to speak limited mandarin.
