We indulged in a feast of Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Oxtail Curry, and Thai Iced Tea Ice Cream during our visit to PAI, and each dish left a lasting impression. Let me begin with the highlight of the evening, the Tom Yum Soup. This dish was an absolute triumph—a symphony of bold and vibrant flavors that danced on the palate. Each sip offered an aromatic burst of lemongrass, kaffir lime, and chili, creating a perfectly balanced harmony of sour, spicy, and savory. The shrimp, cooked to perfection, absorbed the rich flavors of the broth and added a delightful texture. It was truly the star of the meal. Next, the Pad Thai was nothing short of spectacular. We opted for the spiciest version, and it delivered on every level. The tender chicken and perfectly cooked noodles were coated in a flavorful sauce that had just the right balance of sweetness and heat. Each bite was a testament to the dish’s authenticity, leaving us thoroughly satisfied and craving more. The Oxtail Curry, on the other hand, brought a unique twist to the meal. The richness of the curry, infused with spices reminiscent of Indian cuisine, created a dish that felt both familiar and exotic. The oxtail meat was exquisitely tender, falling off the bone effortlessly, and the bold flavors of the curry were a delightful surprise that paired beautifully with the jasmine rice. To finish, we shared a serving of Thai Iced Tea Ice Cream, which provided a sweet and refreshing end to our meal. The creamy texture and subtle tea-infused flavor made it a delightful palate cleanser and a treat that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Thai desserts. Beyond the food, the ambience at PAI added an extra layer of charm to our dining experience. The decor, featuring vibrant posters of Thai festivals and a nod to the iconic film Ong Bak, transported us straight to Thailand, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Overall, PAI is an incredible destination for anyone seeking authentic Thai cuisine. The dishes are crafted with care, bursting with flavors that celebrate the richness of Thai culinary traditions. It’s a place I’ll gladly return to, not just for the exceptional food but also for the warm and inviting atmosphere. I can’t wait to explore more of their menu on my next visit.

Khao soi: flavours are a 10/10 broth really hits the spot on a cold day. All flavours go really well together with the perfect amount of spice, the crispy noodles are a really good addition. The portion size was pretty small, I still felt pretty hungry after. On a winters day, Khao soi warms you right up! Thai iced tea: 8/10 only if you enjoy a drink that’s really sweet other then that this wouldn’t be ideal for you Mango mousse cake: The dessert was amazing all flavours complemented themselves really well, not too sweet either and a dark chocolate cookie crust at the bottom really helps cutdown the sweetness! The purple threw me off a bit considering it’s mango mousse but under the purple is totally worth it! Service: 7/10 our server mostly wandered off and talked to other employees and never really paid much attention to us with our wants and needs.

Really great experience celebrating my birthday here! First time visiting this location for Thai food and I have to say I was very impressed by the flavour in the food! Lots of variations to choose from in the menu in terms of the protein in the meals which was great. It was really hard to choose from the menu as there are so many options, but that just means another excuse to visit again! Looking forward to trying something new here.

It was truly a wonderful dining experience. My friend and I arrived on time for our reservation, and when we went in, it seemed a few tables were already occupied since they had just opened. In less than half an hour, the entire first floor of the restaurant was full. The speed of serving the dishes was reasonable, and each dish had a unique flavor, delicious and just the right portion. I look forward to trying the dinner menu next time I pass by.

Finally went to Pai to celebrate my friend’s bday. We were looking forward to it for 2 months! FYI, for those with issues climbing stairs, there’s an elevator there. I was able to get to the 2nd floor (dining) easily. I was already out of breath from walking uphill from parking! So I was relieved! Service was good. It wasn’t overly enthusiastic, but just right. Our server was attentive enough to make sure we had what we needed but left us alone to talk and even after we paid our bill, didn’t bother us to get up. Food was good. We had the fried fish with green curry, the fried rice, spring rolls. The best part was the mango slaw. The decor is really pretty. It’s nice if you want to take pics. Unfortunately it was very loud. We had difficulty hearing each other and when the band started playing, we were practically yelling at each other! I’m glad we went but not sure we will go back. Our dinners are the only way we get to catch up but it won’t work if we can’t hear each other!

Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends, and I’m pretty certain all of us liked the food and the ambience. I tried the Khao Soi and the Pad Thai along with Thai Iced Tea. We ended up with Coconut Sorbet and the Mango Coconut Mousse Cake for desserts. It was pretty busy when we went in late in the evening, so always recommended to have a reservation!

Great Restaurant, included in the Michelin guide of restaurants. We went to the uptown location, they have one in downtown Toronto as well, and we’re pleasantly surprised. Chef Nuit’s menu selection makes you want to try everything. The apps and shareable were very tasty. I must try is Chef Nuit’s Pad Thai - you have a selection of proteins, we chose shrimps. Outstanding flavour decor was chic and casual. Very appealing. It is, however, noisy during peak times we did not mind it, but we had to ask our Server to repeat herself a few times due to the noise and her soft-spoken demeanor. Service was fast, by a team of servers. Food was pleasantly warm. Near the entrance of the second floor, are the cliff lanterns hung from the ceiling, which was beautiful. We had a great time. Food, service, atmosphere were tops.

The restaurant is stunning, and the food is absolutely delicious. I can't recommend the Pad Thai and papaya salad enough. The Pad Thai was so authentic - not sweet at all, just the right balance of sourness with soft noodles. I've been told by my Thai friend that if it's sweet, it's not the real deal! They also have a great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
