Stumbled on this gem on our trip to Toronto. Murat was welcoming and prepared us a delicious döner sandwich. Halloumi was a special touch. Great food hall and vendors!

Pity, it looked promising, we ordered the mixed Otter Box to go with lamb, veal, chicken, with fries. Unfortunately everything was completely dry, the meats had a nice spice mix but it was inedible, zero moisture, the fries were hard sticks as well except for the few who caught a bit of steam and softened. Wouldn't go back.

Otto’s Berlin Döner at The Water Works is an absolute tragedy. Having been to Berlin and Turkey, I know what a proper döner should taste like—and this isn’t it. For $ 17, I got a sad bread pocket with a microscopic sprinkle of meat, as if the chef were rationing it for the apocalypse. The flavor? Utterly forgettable. I’ve had more exciting toast. Honestly, this is the worst döner I’ve ever had, and that includes the time I tried to make one myself. Avoid at all costs

Love the waterworks! The small doner box was super filling, the fries are good. I wish the diner meat was freshly sliced, it was a bit saucy compared to traditional doner but still really good!

Honestly, I love coming to this place. The food is absolutely yummy, interesting, and exquisite!! The staff is a 12/10. They are so nice, friendly, caring, and fun. Specially the cashier girl! She always makes me feel so welcome and she remembers my favorite orders. It’s a neighborhood vibe. The place looks great and the presentation is adorable. Outstanding addition to the neighborhood!

I had the Bratwurst Currywurst on fries after the server recommended it. It was delicious. I ate in the lounge area of the food hall which has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend you try this dish.

It was a beautiful day out yesterday. Figured I'd grab some lunch here and eat outside at the park. I got the seasonal currywurst with a 50/50 mix of fries and couscous. The couscous was very goo, which surprised me. The fries was ok...wish they were a little more crunchy. The currywurst was good not amazing but good. I'd eat this again for sure. It's not the cheapest lunch option in the area but it feels healthy. Service was ok but there were a few tweaks needed. I never got asked if I wanted a drink or my receipt 🧾. Asking to sell me a drink seems like an easy upsell. Some group in front of us was taking forever to order. It was a slower experience then I'd think it'd be.

We’ve been wanting to go to Waterworks Food Hall after reading about it on BlogTO and decided to go before a Fringe show. There were a lot of restaurants, but we settled on Otto’s Berlin based off the long line. Not everyone could be wrong, amirite? I got the Bratwurst Currywurst which is a pork bratwurst served on a bed of fries (or couscous if you so choose). The wurst is extremely juicy so watch out when you take a bite! Our only wish was that there would be a stronger curry flavor as it was fairly mild. Fries were decent and probably would have been better with the couscous. We sat at the bar and manager was really friendly and asked us how we were enjoying the food and the experience. We really liked that he was making his customers feel welcome.
