Delicious food! Everyone at our table said their meal was excellent. Word of caution to new people. There is no value option for wine. Their lowest cost wine was $16 for a 5 oz glass of "house red". There was no other size option on the menu except by the bottle. The waitress said that she could do a double for me. So I paid $32 for a single 10 oz glass. The most I have ever paid by far for a single glass of "house red".

Went for a business dinner last night. Love the exterior entrance with the lights. Walked in to be greeted with friendly smiles. Had an amazing meal with staff that treats you like family. My favourite restaurant in Vaughan hands down... did I say the food was mouth watering, yup .. one of those places that it's just a vibe :)

Very good dinner place perfect for all occasions. The eggplant parm is amazing, not heavy at all and sauce is well seasoned as well. The rigatoni is homemade and very fresh, sauce is a bit too salty to my taste but overall speaking it’s pretty good. I wanted to try something different for the dessert the cake is surprisingly good!

Service was lacking. Understaffed and servers were stretched thin. One male server had a loud voice and was yelling to the two young hosts/server assistants which was quite alarming and distracting from the meal. As well, one of the oysters was bad, the server was told, and yet they made no offer to replace or even take it off the bill at the end. Felt ignored and then suddenly rushed to order all our food. Food was okay. Truffle brown butter ravioli was nice, however the wild boar ragout was bland.

What an amazing experience. Wanted to come here for so long. And we are so glad we did. Can’t say enough good things about our amazing server Jan. I’ve attached a few pictures. I definitely recommend.

I've been here a handful of times and my most recent visit was a few weeks ago. I somehow always forget to take a photo of the "Straccetti di Papá" because we share and devour this before having our mains. These are mini baked dough balls with tomato, arugula, parmigiano and fior di latte...DIVINE! With my family of 4 on this visit we all had amazing mains. The ribeye special and lamb chops were so good. The service was above and beyond and John catered to all our needs. He was pleasant, personable and didn't rush us as many restaurants do. The owner Antonio came over to check in on our evening and brought us some homemade desserts that were out of this world! Fresh and truly tasted like an authentic Italian dessert my Nonna would make back in Foggia, Italy. Nothing frozen here. It was another wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it and will be back again!!

Osteria has great Italian food with fantastic service. A huge thank you to Rick who made our experience unforgettable. It was the perfect place for a 31st dinner birthday. We had a variety of appetizers and picked from the daily specials. Every single member of our group was very satisfied and will be returning soon. Thanks again!

We were in the area and wanted to try a new place that is not a food chain as I am done with those. Osteria Gente was a lovely surprise for us. We were welcomes despite no reservations as we were kinda early for dinner time. It got so busy so soon! The food is amazing, fresh and just like I wish I could cool at home. 😅 After paying, we realized that the host forgot to charged for desserts, so we asked him to bring another check. Well, the gracious host was amused and didn't charge us for those...who does that nowadays! The fresh Tiramisu is one the best I have ever had. I guess when you are treated with such warmth, you feel the connection. We will certainly go back very soon! 😃 Update: we revised yesterday for a birthday. To our surprise, we got a dessert Platter for the family and last drink of sour whisky, offered to all but only birthday boy accepted graciously. It really felt like a part of Osteria family as they make you feel at home. ❤️
