Original shawarma

I tried their "Double Mix Mandi". Lamb was nice and tender. The chicken was equally good. The rice were also good. It comes with nice Tomato sauce and Garlic dip. Express service - 5 minutes and your order is ready. They need to work on their dine-in area. For now, its a good take away option for Mandi.

Easily my new favourite shawarma shop. Healthy portion sizes, great prices and it's absolutely delicious. I've been at least 3 times now and gotten the lamb, chicken and the mixed combo. Each were great but my go to is the lamb rice and french fries. The fries are super crunchy so eat those before you leave the restaurant if you like them crunchy. The fries are still great at home but best eaten quickly

They deserve 0 stars. Not sure where these amazing reviews are coming from. Highly overrated restaurant, food is atrocious. Found piece of very hard bone in food, customer can chip tooth. Ridiculous! Rice is nothing special. They put way too much sauce on dishes, to the point where it's drowning in it. Soup is disgusting, no wonder it's complimentary.

HANDS DOWN the best shawarma in town! The Mandi Chicken and rice were phenomenal! The chicken done to perfection, even the rice was seasoned well. An absolute must try and guarantee you will go back there again. The 1500+ reviews don’t lie.

I love this place the food is amazing my favourite is the chicken half and half with salad , and the fries are great! The service is great too! Really nice cashiers, Atmosphere, mostly everything is cool with the tvs and other stuff, but the only thing I don’t like is the washroom in the basement what if the pregnant lady who cannot go downstairs just because it’s the beginning and it’s not safe for the baby, so I think the washroom should be upstairs on the side otherwise I had a very good experience there everything is so good and perfect☺️. I ordered a lot of things but post few 🤓 because I just start eating 😅😊.lol

We have always passed by this restaurant and hoped to try it someday. Tonight was our opportunity. We ordered the Double Mix Mandi and family mix Shawarma platter. We were three adults and two pre-teens. We had lots of left overs. It was a busy place and we did manage to get seats. I was not a fan of the sink in the middle of the seating area. The paper towel roll was just beside the sink and people were tearing it with wet hands. Other than that the food looked and tasted very good. Highly recommend and will come again.

Glad we stopped in at Original Shawarma 🥙 pleasantly surprised. Besides the portions being big, the food was absolutely delicious! Explosion of flavours in every bite! Cleanliness is not 100% but the place was also very busy. We will definitely be back! It's nice to find somewhere where it seems that you're getting proper proportions for your money! Kudos to them!

Original Shawarma offers great value for money. I ordered the large mix mix, which included chicken and lamb over rice with salad, all topped with a light garlic sauce. The chicken was juicy, while the lamb was a bit dry. Having the salad in the same container made the rest of the meal cold. The rice was perfectly cooked and moist, but the flavors felt somewhat one-dimensional—mostly garlic sauce with a hint of gaminess from the lamb. A friend of mine ordered the chicken saj wrap, and after tasting it, it was one of the best wrap I've ever tried. The grilled exterior added a nice crispy texture. It took about 15-20 minutes for me to receive my food on a Saturday night. The restaurant’s layout felt a bit empty, with seating along the walls and a hollow center. The fries were reminiscent of Cavendish, similar to those found in Costco’s frozen offerings. Overall, it was considered a solid fast-food experience. Recommend.
