Oregano Pizza & Pasta

This restaurant has been around for almost 30 years at the same location. There's a reason for that. The food is always great, good portions and very fairly priced. Highly recommended.

The food was very good, but service terrible. We were the only ones in the restaurant the entire time, so the server was NOT busy. He did not offer Parmesan cheese with our pasta. We had to ask for it. When the main course was finished, he did not ask if we would like coffee/tea or dessert. Will not go back to this restaurant

Decided to go try this place in Richmond Hill today when I pulled into the plaza and got to the front of oregano I was expecting to get a Wood-Fired Pizza as that's what it said on the sign. Oven was in full display but I guess they don't use it during the week when it's slow. They could have given me a heads up or a . Don't warning. The margarita pizza had slices of tomato? Or should I say cubes of tomato instead of tomato sauce? Don't get me wrong. I was warned about this when I ordered it but a margarita pizza should always be tomato sauce, cheese, basil oil and cheese.

I got food poisoning from either their chicken or cheese. The worst pain, haven’t been able to keep food or water down in 24 hrs. Just miserable and regretting coming here in the first place. They should shut down, it is a health hazard.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent visit to this place( Oregano Italian Restaurant) I have frequented this place often, because I work in the same building and my last experience was unacceptable. I found a large cockroach in my salad, which was both shocking and disgusting. Despite the disturbing discovery, I paid for my meal, hoping for a proper acknowledgment of this serious issue. However, when I brought it to the staff's attention, they merely offered excuses, claiming it was a ‘ready portion’ that had been served to me and expressed only vague apologies. This raises concerns about the cleanliness and safety standards of the establishment. I cannot recommend dining here due to my experience. I advise potential customers to be cautious before choosing this restaurant.

I order from on uber eats quite frequently and this place is my go to. The food is amazing, great portions and presentation, EVEN in a takeout container. What I love the most is how affordable it is whereas other Italian restaurants charge an arm and a leg for one dish. The quality of the food is amazing. Will definitely be ordering again in a couple weeks.

Ordered pasta and desert for pick up. We were extremely disappointed. I have never written a review but this meal and experience was so terrible I felt I had to share. The pasta carbonara was clumpy, rubbery and awful. The other pasta was also not eatable. The deserts were old, stale and hard. We called the restaurant. The manager was supposed to call us but he/she never did. I will never order from that restaurant again. The entire meal ended up in the garbage.

We were 6 people. Only the Mediterranean pizza was good. The fried calamari was too hard and inedible. The Calzone pizza was open and wasn’t as good. The carbonara was dry. Not a drop of sauce in it. Very disappointing.
