We normally get Swiss Chalet for Christmas Eve but they closed at 3 PM today, and my mom has strict dietary needs, so we searched for other options and found Oporto BBQ! We were able to easily place the order through the phone, it was ready for our requested pick up time. We did get a little confused on the way there because Trip Advisor said this restaurant was called “Portugalo BBQ”. Over all great customer service, food was ready on time and the food was delicious. If you're a fan of grilled chicken, I highly recommend this restaurant! The chicken is perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and tender, juicy meat inside, flavored with delicious marinades and spices. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the service is fast and attentive, making it a great dining experience.

Ordered a deluxe meal through Uber that I picked up. Food was great. Portions are fair. My only complaint was the rice was a bit dry but I fixed that by drizzling their sauce over it. Be prepared to wait so best to pre order in advance.

We ordered this for beach day. And have for the last couple years. Literally the best Portuguese chicken in Barrie!!!! The quality of the chicken is excellent. And I hate any frozen or boiled oe weird texture meat. This was perfect. Service is amazing. Taste is incredible. It's hot fresh and they deliver consistently on their quality. Highly recommend. Also portions are top notch too!!!! Well done and kudos to this great lil place.

Lipsmackingly yummy! Delicious flavor and solid no fuss cooking done right, this was a great experience, albeit slightly oilier than expected, downright pretty good grub. Support local businesses!

Opporto BBQ has a true Portuguese taste. Their chicken and beef dishes brought back fond memories of my trip to Lisbon. The flavours are authentic, and the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff create a warm dining experience. Don't skip their special sauces; they're the icing on the cake. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Portugal.

Ordered the quarter n 2 sides. I mistakenly said “extra Nando’s sauce” when I meant to say hot sauce…. At which the owner replied: “much better than Nando’s”… Rice was crunchy, potatoes were not all cooked through, and the food was cold. Didn’t even give me any utensils. Never been there before as some of the older reviews seem to have dealt with a different owner. Wish I knew of this place years ago.
