ONNURI 감자탕 (Korean Restaurant)

I ordered takeout from their restaurant today and got a Korean-style bugugi beef dish. There was barely any beef, and the beef that was there was very stale and had a sour smell. I called the restaurant to explain the situation, but they didn’t offer any explanation or apology and just hung up the phone. Restaurants like this should definitely be avoided!

we ordered the gamja tang and the kimchi soup + mackerel deal. the side dishes were okay but the potatoes were very apparently old. the gamja tang doesnt come with any potatoes and the pork was tough. the soup was also not hot enough so the oil kept solidifying at the top and making a film. the kimchi soup was good, the veggies and tteboki were excellent but not enough pork. the mackerel was tough and you could tell it was old/had been frozen. the meal i would give a 3.2/5 overall. the staff gave us no water and did not come back to check on us once during the meal.

Ordered the spicy pork,spicy squid and the fried chicken . No meat in both dishes just a load of vegetables manly onions , I literally paid for vegetables The spicy pork had exactly 11 pieces of squid and the rest onions. The spicy pork have a hand full of meat and the rest onions ,just onions in sauce .. As for the fried chicken , all batter smallest piece of meat . I honeslty feel ripped off...in the end a $90 bill for vegetables and dough .. On the plus service was fast but the food , holy! Was the worst korean style food I've had , will diffinetly not be returning here .. 1 and half stars , mainly for the service ..

The food is tasty and flavourful. But the bulgogi is more onions than bulgogi, so don’t order it. On the other hand, the kimchi soup and rice with cheese on top is really good. It’s a nice place.

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years so it IS a bit hard being biased but here’s my review. I HAVE noticed throughout the years food quality has gone down- you can taste it in the side dishes and if you’re someone like me who gets the exact same thing over and over again (I get the GamJa-tang) you’ll notice it as well. STILL overall pretty good, ESPECIALLY for the price! Place is very budget friendly AND is open late everyday (til 2am)! Service is great- once you’ve came many times they do remember you so it’s nice when they give a friendly hello & check-up on you & your table. Atmosphere is pretty warm- it’s cool how we have wooden separators between tables for exclusivity. Will continue to support 🙏🏽

My friends and I were looking for a nice restaurant that wasnt too pricey and had some yummy food, and as luck would have it, we found it!! The food didn't take long to come out at all and it was absolutely delicious. i finished the entire food wanting even more! Our server, Johnny, was also an amazing server and made sure everything was good with us! I definitely recommend the bbq eel with rice!!

Ordered on UberEats and it’s the best meal I’ve gotten through food delivery. Portions are huge, food was hot because of the way it was packaged, everything tasted amazing. I got the tofu BibimBop , corn cheese & kimchi rice. I even got extra kimchi on the side and lots of side sauce. Thank you!

Went here for the first time. The service is slow, I'm not sure if they are short staffed today or not, but it was kinda slow. So me and my cousins ordered different dishes and I ordered the Unagi Dolsot Bibimbap and 1 Cheese Tteokbokki for sharing. I love EEL fish in general, that's why I ordered Unagi Dolsot Bibimbap. I would say eating it as a Bibimbap is new to me because I only tastes eel as a sushi dish. I was also assuming that with Bibimbap it would have vegetables on it like the ones that you normally have in a Bibimbap dish, but they only have the seaweed, 2 half slices of pickles and the rice seasoning. It still tasted good; I guess they were also thinking if the vegetables will be a good pair with the eel sauce and the eel itself. Next is the Cheese Tteokbokki, the size of the dish is good for 2 or 3 people. I love the cheese, nicely scorched. The rice cake is soft, easy to bite and chew, however there were only few rice cakes present on the dish, it was mostly vegetables present, a small portion of potato glass noodles and 1 boiled egg. Overall, it was a good place, not that expensive per dish which is good, so ordering 1 dish per person is nice for anyone that is on a budget, because the rice dishes are below 20cad before tax.
