It’s definitely hard to call this restaurant spotless, but their lamb skewers and sweet and sour pork are the best in Toronto.

Don't be fooled by the 3.3 Google rating. Chinese people flock here en masse to get some of this food. There are lineups apparently that are constant at 10PM or later. The modest and a little unkept interior is a testament to how their food does all the talking. No fancy service or lavish interiors. Just plain good Northern Chinese food that has Korean influences. This is a hidden gem, contrary to what the clearly entitled Canadian clientele will tell you.

First off, the place is dirty and oily. But that’s usually how things are at most of the Chinese skewers places. Food is not bad, reasonable price. For example, $7.5 for 4 lamb skewers. Beer is $9 a pitcher. Only 2 types of beer. Can BYOB with $5 corkage. No stomach pain afterwards.

A friend recommended this restaurant for its skewers so I decided to give it a try. PROS: - Pricing is pretty good. CONS: - Really salty. Probably one skewer would be enough to melt an entire single driveway full of ice. - Seasoning is the same no matter the protein that is selected. - Restaurant inside is dirty, the floor is sticky (perfect for trapping insects), and there are a lot of stains. - Service was terrible as the server forgot about us and did not submit our order to the kitchen for over an hour. I guess they really liked our presence. - Was served chicken skewers with extra ingredient (hair). Once the server acknowledged the issue, he was quick to re-serve us with raw chicken... It was very considerate of them as they knew we were hungry from waiting for so long. Raw chicken is also no bueno. We paid and got out of the hairy situation as soon as possible.

Very tasty BBQ skewers and deep fried and baked dishes in North Scarborough. Customer service is friendly. We ordered some bake sweet potatoes with Salted Egg yolk, deep fried pork intestine and some skewers. Was very fresh and tasty. I would recommend the beef and lamb. Very well made. Just need some renovations inside the restaurant to be more attractive for young people, but still fine. I would recommend this place for a BBQ lovers.

One Plus One BBQ We had a fantastic weekend dinner at this spot, which has quickly become our go-to for skewers thanks to our love for fresh BBQ meat. We indulged in an assorted 40 skewers, and each one was perfectly grilled and flavorful. Alongside the skewers, we tried their cold beef salad, fried rice, and seafood spaghetti—all of which were delicious. The restaurant itself is neat and welcoming, making it an ideal place for a hearty meal. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out at 633 Silver Star Blvd. It’s a hidden gem for BBQ lovers!

I rarely gave 5/5 stars but this is the best Chinese BBQ restaurant in town!!! Yet great portion and reasonable price. (Or I just happened to made good call on everything today.) Must try the cucumber mix dish.

Came to this place Friday around 10pm instead of Chat Bar (which is basically next door), as they were completely full. Was pleasantly surprised. Their skewers are actually bigger (more generous severing size) and very tasty. They have the standard menu list, and all the favorites are available (lamb, hearts, sausage, etc.) Not as “done up” as Chat, but good pricing, and accessible. Definitely a good alternative....food wise. Atmosphere is lacking a bit. Bright lights and noisy.
